Amazing trip! Thanks for sharing!
What camera were you using and what did you use to attach the camera on the side of the car? I'd like to get one for my trip

Very comprehensive! My one grip with these ED is that ppl don't post enough pictures but you nailed it! No offense to you but I would never bring a one year old on a trip like this lol.

Understood and agree. However, first child, grandparents live abroad. Where do you leave your child? How do you think that would have gone with the wife? Are you married?

For videos I had 2 GoPro Hero 4 silver camera's and they were attached using the GoPro suction cup (no tethers.) For the camera on the roof I ran a dedicated external mike to the rear bumper.

That is a very awesome coverage. Makes me feel like I am reliving your experience. You have a wonderful car and a beautiful family. My wife and my one year old were at the BMW Welt Munich museum earlier this year. I admire and understand the experience with a one year old on a trip like that. Good memories when you look back. Thank you for sharing your experience as a part of this community. Would love to hear more!

continuing.............
Day 6 & 7 - Lake Garda So we got to beautiful town of Malcesine in the Lake Garda area late on Day 5. Got up early on Day 6 and headed out to the center of town. Our B&B was around 3 km from the town so we had to take a bus. Was an interesting experience because I had to go standing We really loved Malcesine. It is a very old town on the eastern shore of Lake Garda with a lot of history and the old world charm. It has an old castle (Castello Scaligero) as well that is worth exploring. The top of the castle requires some climbing and offers some amazing panoramic views. We spent most of the day in Malcesine and then a ferry across to the western shore to Limone which another really nice old town with many shops and old homes. We really wished we had spent more than one day at Lake Garda. I know most folks doing ED head to Lake Como but between the two we preferred Lake Garda for it had to offer. Here are lost of pictures from Day 6 and some from the morning of Day 7 where we stopped at some other villages (Garda and Sirmiorne) on our way to Milan. The dreaded hidden speed camera NEXT - Milan and Cinque Terre to be continued.................
