Will 2018 touch screen work in 2016 id4?

Looking to buy a 2018 touch screen to put into my id4 system so that my MMI android auto has touch screen capabilities. Anyone know if this works before I spend 500...? I know touch wont work for my regular ID4 stuff, just looking ot get it on MMI.

This will not work as the Touchscreen you are referencing is APIX2 and requires NBT EVO iDrive 5/6 to support.
