Can I circumvent the M Town age restriction?

Hello all, is there anyway to bypass the age restriction for the M town events? I'm currently 21 years of age and recently purchased a M3 CS and was looking forward to checking out a M5 comp but due to this 25+ age stipulation I might not be able to. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone knows if the age restriction applies to the M driving voucher that CS owners get that would also be appreciated, cheers!

There are two questions here so I’ll answer each separately. If 25+ is the age stipulation to drive the M5 during the M Town event I doubt you’ll be able to secure a “waiver” for that requirement. Your best bet is to attend the event and hope they don’t notice you’re under 25. This is an odd requirement since one could presumably test drive an M5 outside of the M Town event. I say presumably because the 25 year old requirement may be valid on M5 test drives. FYI - Test driving the M5 during the M Town event is no different than a standard test drive.

The M Driver’s Package which comes with the purchase of a brand new CS is for participants 18 and older with a valid driver’s license. This applies to all programming offered at the BMW Performance Center with the obvious exception of the teen driving offering where you must be at least 15 years old with a valid driver’s permit.

It is likely the age restriction is set by their insurance company, so I don't think you have a chance. Usually, they take a photo of your license with their ipads at check in, so your dob will be checked at some point.

Yep. Probably an insurance thing. Not something they can control.

Most likely an insurance issue. Don't worry though, your CS came with the M Driver's Package. You are going to get to really let loose on an M car during the M Driver's School or M School. On a side note, a M3 CS at 21 wow

They ask for your DL when you arrive and register, so I doubt that "they don't notice".

Thank you, I've managed a lot at my age. It's all due to working hard and smart, focused all my time into multiple ventures and reaping the rewards.
