Brake lines…

Has anyone had to replace a hard line fitting on the F80? My front right’s fitting appears to have some stripped threads (rather bizarrely, wasn’t overtightened, didn’t cross thread). It exploded while bleeding. After retightening it, it’s dry and not leaking but I don’t trust it.

Looks like I’m replacing the whole line.

Sorry to hear that OP. I'm scared to bleed mine now. Does your car get driven in winter salt? Track use?

My car was originally from CT, but not winter driven. I had the undercarriage steam cleaned when I brought it to CA.

Finally finished replacing the hardline, which was a massive massive PITA. It looks like the bottom two threads failed somehow. Really not sure what to make of it since the line threaded on completely normally.

I wouldn't be scared to bleed yours if you've never disconnected the hardline from the softline.
