Apple carplay fullscreen (simple as disabling split screen?)

I paid for a Carplay fullscreen USB coding from Ebay (25£) which in the scheme of things is fine. But BMW did a DME update last week and now it's reset.

Am I right in thinking that disabling Splitscreen in coding will enable Fullscreen carplay again?

Nope. It's not exactly only coding - it's a patch.

Is there anything in this patching that can become a problem during a service like VO coding not matching original vehicle order or is it transparent during service?
