Has anybody installed the Turner Motorsport Intake?

This has got to be hands-down the best-looking intake for our cars IMO. Curious to see if anybody has these installed? Fit/finish/sound? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the full carbon setup with the covers.

I just looked this up. Reasonably priced compared to some, especially the Eventuri, which I have and would consider replacing with this. I like the idea of going back to a closed lid system.

I just bought this at the end of last week along with their oil cooler aluminum skid plate. I'll let you know how install goes 👍

Finished up the install today.

Installation was very straightforward and they use excellent OEM grade hardware. The kit is very well designed and it looks like a lot of attention to detail and engineering went into it. Fitment is very OEM like.

The finish on the carbon is beautiful, really blings out the engine bay. Soundwise, there is a definite increase in sucking and wooshing sounds which is especially pronounced at part throttle, I don't know if I'm a big fan of the extra spooling sounds. Butt dyno feels the same as expected, throttle response might be a touch better but I wasn't expecting a noticeable increase in power with intakes. No weird idle issues or strange behaviors.

Anyways, here it is.

There’s a separate thread on these Charge-pipes. Definitely turned out really nice.

Those intakes do look very nice.
Any hood clearance issue?
I'm currently running Dinan, had to shave a little off the left cover to clear stock and RW Carbon hood. And it hurts shaving the clearcoat off the carbon.

No clearance issues whatsoever. Fits very OEMish which is what I wanted.

Looks good. Can the filters be removed and changed out without removing the carbon brace?

No, I was just saying, there's a lot of info in that thread if you're interested. Not busting your chops on posting about the CP's.

Yup, they kinda slide under the brace and then pop into place using rubber grommets.

I had a good experience installing them. I was very impressed with how tight the hole and brackets for the maf sensor are. The instructions turner has for the install make it a breeze.

The lids are a tad tricky to get on and off, just be careful and make sure you have the peg in the hole before you apply much force.

I didn't have any fitment issues with other parts, but I have stock charge pipes and a stock hood though. I'll eventually do aftermarket charge pipes and I'll report back on the fitment.

As for the spooling noise, I'm a fan. It's not over the top, but I can certainly hear it which I appreciate.

If you have the BMS Oil Catch Can, is there enough space to install the Passenger CF cover?

Thanks!
