I dig it. Bet It looks great in person. Did you build this car?

Ok., I get it!
The colors may not be to everyone's liking. I guess, if you've not nothing better to do, just hate!?! It's an "Individual Manufaktur" build. All the updates were done with all OE materials - Leather and Thread - sourced directly from them ("Individual"/"BMW Performance") and/or their vendors. The "wood" was just too shiny! So, I replaced it with "Open Pore" C.F. and had the stitching mimic the original pattern on the original leather placed on the instrument panel trim. As with the paint ("Sakhir Orange"), different lighting brings out different tonalities of the interior. Cheers!

The issue here, was getting it hooked up (behind the tuner) correctly so it would work (charge) properly. Cheers!

I don’t think people are trying to hate on your creation man it’s just some things are pleasing to the eye and some are not. In this case I’d say the overwhelming majority consider those choices to go poor with this car.

It's a Sakhir Orange convertible and I originally wanted just a "Champagne" interior, but that was too light and too bright on its own. Then, I came across the availability of "Contrast Stitching" so, I eventually came to choose a two tone combination. It was finally between, "Caramel", "Saddle" or "Amaro". I was looking for as close to a baseball glove - like brown as possible, to pair up with the "Champagne".

If that's what you wanted and are happy with it then that is all that matters in the end. So congrats!
However, just because someone doesn't like it does not mean they are hatin'. Personally, I don't like it all. Overdone and doesn't fit the aesthetics of the vehicle but that's just my opinion so who cares. Good for you for having the disposable income to drop money on the car like this. Wish I could do the same. Just differently. |
