New M3 owner, what maintenance should I do

Bought my 2018 M3 mid september with 42,500 on it from a bmw dealer. Coming up on 45k any day now and looking to get my first service.

I always do oil changes at 5k intervals, My questions is other than oil and filter change what else should be done?

Do you have the service plan where oil changes and plugs are included? If yes then the only "extra" would be adding another factory oil change at the 5K intervals. The reason to stick with factory oil is so you're not mixing oil additives from other brands.

If it were my car I would buy 7L of TPT oil from FCP Euro and at the 5K mark do a simple dump and fill (no filter change). FCP takes back old oil and refunds your next purchase, so it basically becomes free.

This is my recommendation for a stock car without a tune…just a fun daily driver.

Yes, use stock TPT so the oil and additives are consistent.

If you track the car, or run big turbos, or run E85, then it's different.

I’d schedule replacement crank hubs weekly. That’s just me.
