Installed - Aliexpress G8X style CF paddle shifters

Probably the second easiest mod i've done, besides swapping out the steering wheel trim to the M-Perf one. Under 10 mins start to finish.

CF paddles purchased from Aliexpress:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...A6id0gGGegSj2o

Note that the red section is NOT rubber - it's just red plastic. I actually don't know if the OEM G80 paddles are red rubber or plastic - someone else can verify.

Happy to be the guinea pig for this group - let me know what you guys think.

Are the faces of them actual carbon? I've been looking at these for a couple of weeks trying to decide on them. How long did they take to arrive?

P.S. - I think they look great!!

How do they feel compared to the stock F8x paddles? Anything about the new paddles that you wish were different/better?

Nah I don't think it's real carbon fiber. Probably some sort of printed on pattern to the plastic. Looks pretty good though.

They took about 2 weeks to arrive (I'm in Australia).

The dots at the back do give it a more tactile feel. No flex in the plastic - it's all very sturdy. I originally thought that the OEM ones were rubberised at the back, but now that I know that it's also red plastic, I think these are great value for money as an exact replica.

Had did they shift? 95% of all the larger paddles bind and either miss shifts or double shift.

They shift pretty well - note that the paddles are a complete housing replacement of the old paddles, so they work exactly the same way as the OEM ones. No missed shifts so far.
