Our Latest BMW M4 Coupe (F82) Renders [Front and Rear]
BIMMERPOST NEWS Our Latest BMW M4 Coupe (F82) Renders Now that the 4 Series Coupe (F32) has been revealed [photos], we thought we'd take some more cracks at imagining and predicting the look of the 2015 M4 Coupe (F82), while adding some track aero parts (on the front view), for fun. * Click on image for higher resolution * With the latest F82 M4 prototype sighting (gallery below), we have seen the following: • Double slatted kidney grilles • M4 badge on kidney grilles (a la M6) (currently covered) • LED headlights • LED tail lights • Carbon ceramic brakes (optional) being tested in signature gold color (just as on F80 M3 prototype) • Hood power dome/bulge • Sculpted double-bubble carbon fiber roof (like M6 Coupe) • Production side mirrors (still under camouflage) • Integrated trunk spoiler • Wide fenders • Slanted exhaust tips • Production sideskirts • Wearing Continental ContiSportContact tires - 275/35 rear (like F80 M3) • Gap in front fender for air breather vent? Location is too high to be the same 'boomerang' vent seen on the 3 Series GT and 4 Series Coupe prototypes, but it could take another form on the M4. • Rear bumper design more clearly seen through camouflage now, which appears to have an aggressive squared-off design at the edges - a bit like the the F30 M Sport rear bumper. What were the power and weight figures that were being discussed again?
I remember seeing something like 440hp and 3700lbs?

I will buy one, only if it doesn't have the nasty wing spoiler on the trunk or the silly black wind deflector on the sides of the front bumper...

Car looks beautiful, but tell me where that gas station is. Great prices!
Think the double slatted grille is a little paint and tapey though. But as long as there are 40-50 M Badges on it, it's all good. |

The mirrors should be different than what's in the render, no?

Looks okay ... I just hope the designers can do something with the rear end hiding the muffler showing up below like an ugly duckling ... crossing fingers
Or is the first mod one needs to do is to hide this after purchasing this car?

That's pretty bad. They did that with the E9X as well. It was never that bad on the < E46. There is no reason they can't hide that better, or paint it black.

This will be a deal breaker for me for sure. I'm not prepared to modify a $80K (in Canada) for this only due to BMW's oversight. I lead many people in my life in the engineering field and something like this would have never passed my desk or approval ... I only hope the BMW design staff will change this before final release to manufacturing. As said I keep my fingers crossed.
