$2200 more for the M4 really isn't bad if you like the appearance better, If you are planning on getting it to $75,000 with options thats just 3% more (not like M6 vs M5 pricing). I have a feeling I will really like the M4 once I see it in person and I have always been a sedan person (especially with 2 kids), now the hard part of convincing my wife an M4 will work with a 5 and 7 year old (their ages when I buy it in 1 1/2 years).
When people say that they like the M3 more it means that wife has won !
You are still in the resistance .

I'll be going tonight... hopefully the crowds aren't too big. I'd like to get some alone time with those cars! lol

C'mon men, M3post members, BMW fanatics, M3 worshippers!! I know your wives just spent $7000 on a small ass Chanel leather bag. $2500 is nothing on a "few extra square feet of leather" on your M3. Just Do It and they got nothing on us!!

I do receive a lot of compliments for the colour of my E92(SSII).

I can't seem to decide about the wheel colour though. I did not like the black wheels in pictures but found them really nice in real life. Now seeing the SSII M3 with the silver wheels, I am back at preferring the silver ones .
+1. If I order one of these in a couple years that's my pick as well.

Yeah, they look better, but still not as good as it could be. Why they didn't put the wheels from the concept m4 on? These 20' were nice...

What do you consider "the competition" in this price range?

Wow, might have to make a trip too. Thanks for the info!

Is it just me, or do the new seats do not appear to have the leg extenders?

An M4GC would be the perfect car. The looks of a coupe and the practicality of a 4 door sedan. The kids would be old enough to operate the doors themselves and you wouldn't have to get out yourself to let them out when dropping them off at school. Just needs to have a regular trunk opening and try to turn it into a wagon.

No wife here (girlfriend likes the M3 more as well) and I used to be a coupe guy (and currently drive an M3 E92), but so far I prefer the look of the M3. The M4 just has some weird looking parts from certain angles. But sure, I definitely have to see both cars in person.

Why do I keep hearing this stupidity? I like the M3 more because it looks better. I'm in my early 30's and not married.

There is a LOT of stereotyping/generalizations going on this forum. It's the most I've ever seen.

Notables ones...
you're gay if you like alpine white
you're a kid if like the M4
your wife won if you chose the M3
you're immature if you use smileys
and something about old people that I can remember

People are too full of themselves!

It appears that the differences between a regular 4 series and the M4 are minimal. Most prospective buyers want a noticeable, distinctive look. I know I do. That's the point.

Of course you say this if I lived in Nebraska or Waco, TX I wouldn't wanna drive around in a bright yellow or blue car either. Bright color has nothing to do with age!
