The good news is the car is fairly new so finding the slack will likely wont be that hard. I just chased down a clunk from an e46 m3 over 100k miles and just about replaced everything to fix the clunk lol. honestly it can be so many things...
I highly doubt it wouldve been the rear diff bushings as they take many years to disintegrate to the point it makes noise. Its REALLY hard to say just by video or without being next to the car but I check your drive line and look for slack at your guibo, u-joint, drive shaft CV joint and CSB bearing. fwiw, I ended up changing out just about everything chasing this down, and I still dont really know what it was till this day since I changed out multiple things at once many times. I believe it was the CV joint that mates with the diff Also, do you feel/hear a THUD coming from the rear of the car? or is it just light "clanking" without a strong feel? |
