Not married anymore after 25 years. Now I'm married to my M4 and much happier 😁 the M is a lot cheaper to maintain.

They are great, reliable SUVs. My wife has a 2012 with 125k miles on it and we hope for another 125K. Very solid, safe and comfortable.

We've got 150k on her old 2010 Pilot, I'll be selling it soon since I'm flying up on Monday to pick up my 2018 M3 (plans to daily). She loved the Pilot and was content with keeping it but all of our junk was getting old. I sold my work beater and truck earlier this year ('99 Accord with 250k & 06 F250 with 150k) with the plans of me keeping the Pilot until mid to late 2019. Then buy a low mileage M3. Of course I couldn't stop looking and found all the options I wanted, white manual executive package with sun roof (wife liked it over the carbon fiber top). Being from the south she said the black top made it look like it had a mullet...lol Neither of us ever use a sun roof but I'll at least spare myself from the mullet jokes! I liked the look with the carbon fiber top but the one I'm picking up has the carbon fiber spoiler, mirror caps, upper splitters and the diffuser. Just enough with out going overboard. Now I'm going to look for a smaller truck or at least a trailer for the mulch runs. Still hurts a little to drop so much on vehicles this year but we've lived like no one else for so long that now it's time to live like no one else!

It is indeed! I've tested driven them a couple times now. Odd that I was cross shopping an X3 and an M but the X3 driving dynamics are quite amazing for an SUV and the B58 is a great engine. It sounds better than our M cars do, admit it
And the tech is top notch... Great ride. Enjoy! |
