Looks sweet and after hearing some reviews of the F30 am very interested in the F80 M, but with all the new tech, will never buy the first model year of it. Looks like I'm looking at 2014 or 2015 before taking things seriously. Cautiously optimistic

Wow, I never thought I would want an M3 sedan until now! I will reserve judgement until I see the coupe unveiled (which I'm hoping they won't call the M4).
Still curious as to what's under that hood... |

This car looks as if it will not disappoint in appearance and performance. Hopefully BMW differentiates this M3 enough from the M335i to keep its legacy intact.

This car will be epic! hopefully they will cover the missing part between the grills and the headlights. I have a feeling that the 3er coupe will carry the M3 sedan's grill design.

I think the headlights and grille design is fine. I feel that everyone's problem is what BMW did below with the lower/bumper grille - how it looks too thin therefore making it look smushed. The F30 with the M-Sport kit looks, in my opinion, amazing. The front has a more full/complete look because of the bumper. I have no doubt the M3 is going to look good (see: F10 M5).

I think it looks fantastic. I just hope it's got the performance and feel to back it up. the S65 V8 is a tough act to follow. my only gripe is that the hood should be more aggressive. it shouldn't get an aggressive powerdome like the e90 because it doesn't need it, but something more menacing than the boring hood of the standard F30 will be fine (something like the e46 hood). either way, they can put me down for a carbon black sedan. |

Honestly... I miss the hood hump...
I've seen the new 335 sport model and the front end is beautiful. At about halfway past the hood to the rear it's not a noticeable difference from the E9x. Now if only they could have kept a small hump...

Just like Audi's S4 and S5, BMW will also bring out their own variants for 2014, which is M3 for the sedan and M4 for the coupe.

I don't think the M4 monikor has been fully baked yet. While it sounds like the F32 and F33 will be called the 4-series, I think there's still some internal debate within BMW about losing the cache that the M3 name carries.

Even though these cars look good, one thing I did not want to happen was these vehicles looking like miniature and larger versions of each other. The 3,5 and 7 series now look like big, bigger and biggest. The M's are obviously following the same pattern minus the 7 of course.
