Yes items on the concept car such as the front spoiler and CFRP exhaust covers will be provided under M Performance.

Lol ^^ you're absolutely right, it won't. This is BMW trying to stay ahead of the game with pedestrian bylaws and government intervention.

Don't be surprised if other manufacturers follow suit.

At least they are trying to get these ugly details out of the way now.

Very very impressive. Looks better than the Pebble Beach Concept, almost like it is chiseled out of a single piece of metal now that the gaps are smaller and fit and finish is a lot tighter.

The hood line is not the end of the world. Reminds me of a 1960s Ford or GM - cutting edge German design. Plus no more leading edge paint chips on the metal hood.

Will someone be able to zoom in CSI style and look at those seats? Those appear to look like thin sports seats...fingers crossed

wish bmw just widened the track w/o widening the body, (car would be lighter too) then the front and rear fender flares would be more pronounced as was the e46.

Yeah... looks like it. Surprising they would even bother with the standard lights on the M4.
Oh dear on a machine that expensive... Maybe then the M3 will come with halogens and standard indicator bulbs

That leaves the future M2 which will then come with tea light candles, aluminium foil and orange sweet wrappers, unless you pay 1500 for optional adaptive oil lamps

When you zoom in they don't look like thin lightweight seats.

They almost look like a modern Vader style seat. Headrest does look somewhat built in.

Didn't even think of that, easily the coolest seat for the E36 - I think it was a bit ahead of its time.

If BMW M has an integrated vader style lightweight seat (much thinner and hopefully way lighter than the days of the E36 seat - as they were pretty heavy) that would be totally bad ass.

Headrest and shoulder width would look very cool - design cue like this I feel would be huge as I never thought the E9x Seats to be extremely different from the standard vehicles. Also would point as to why they are covering up the interior from our view so much on the concept

Already changed for the F15, F26, G11 and Gxx (whatever the next 5er is called).

The F3x/F8x chassis has already been in development since 2009 (first seen 3 years ago), so it's obviously too late to change a hood/bumper for an M-model debuting now.

i like the roof indentations similar to the new generation M6's - the car overall will have to grow on me, but that front bumper-hood line is a no-go for me

The concept has the optional LED lighting package. This model has the standard Xenon projectors.

I have been told by our regional product specialist Rep that BMW must meet Govt safety standards for multiple countries. They went to the Hood Cutline and flat front end (instead of the Banger front which was sloped back) to meet Pedestrian Safety laws in various European countries. I feel like BMW will redesign the hoodline because of the numerous complaints, the Roundel does not belong on the bumper!! They are rolling out quit a few changes for the My14 lineup that have been the biggest gripes we have had with the F generation.

The little bit of camouflage they kept really does wonders, from the spy shots the rear 3/4 looks too long.

but in the concept car the rear 3/4 looks perfect...I really can't wait to see the production version in all the available colors.
