I disliked them on the GTS, I dislike them here. They're really ugly. The e9x Comp Pack Y spoke wheels were AWESOME.

They all have their drawbacks. While the e9X ZCP wheels were amazing, they also weighed as much as a house and were cast wheels. When I was looking to buy a used M3, I did not put ZCP on top of the wishlist at all.

The ones on the M3/4 are light (I'm assuming) but aren't to everyone's taste. However, if they make the rest of the package good, then I still think it might be worth it this time. This is one of the last pieces of the puzzle before I'm ready to commit to the F80.

I would pay extra for the new ZCP wheels and hopefully an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel with minimal buttons (M-cloth seats too). How much I guess it would depend. I hope there are a few more features too, but like others have said I would probably go aftermarket with the exhaust or MSE. What about an intake like the E46 CSL had.

I agree. They weighted a lot. But the reality for most of us is that unless we are racing in the ALMS or British Touring Car Championship - these weights matter very minutely. My brother tracked his E92 ZCP 3 times a month and was owning 911s all day. As for road use, the "additional" rotational mass makes no discernible difference on road handling or fuel economy.

That being said - the new Comp Wheels are Fugly. Yikes.

Per ETK, it'll be 265/30/20 and 285/30/20 PSS tires

Ugly is very personal,I absolutely love them.

But you are wrong about the effect a heavier wheel has on the front end. If you think there is very little steering feel with the stock wheels, go ahead and add 10lbs per side and see how you like that.

Yes, I read that on the ETK.

However, the comment was that "all seen ZCP mules had 20" front wheels". I was wondering if that statement was confirmed.

I don't think anything's been confirmed. Everything is speculation until they officially announce it. But if you look at the spy photos that have been taken of the "unconfirmed" ZCP, they are wearing 20" wheels all the way around; not the 19"/20" combo that the GTS is sporting.

Is this just from eyeballing the wheel size off the picture?

Or was someone able to actually read it off the sidewall (either from a pic or in real life)?

Don't hold your breath. According to ETK, is seems ZCP will only be available with EDC.

etk shows 265/30/20 with 285/30/20 loaded into the system. From the looks of the pictures, they do look like 20s all around too.

Like I said, I read that.

However, the 666M wheels are not yet listed

It seems no one is able to confirm that the mules really had 20" wheels in front.

I am not trying to say it is not the case. I am only looking for confirmation, trying to separate fact from speculation

I would be VERY surprised if ZCP can be had with passive suspension. I estimate zero chance.

Because the M5/6 gets a small power bump when you opt for ZCP. Why is it so completely left field to think that they might do the same thing for the M3/4? Especially considering MB has the C63S on top of the regular C63

That and all competitors has 450 hp or more including the RS5. Two have +500 hp so it would actually be quite a surprise if ZCP do not bring a little power bump given how easy it would be for BMW. But it's not guaranteed for sure.
