Love the interior as well. Nice use of CF and leather, much more premium looking than the F30. And yes, a proper handbrake!

Not sold on YMB though, I'm likely going AW, the M3 has enough flair to handle a conservative color in opposite from the bland F30.

If you don't own the current V8, your opinion is as good as anyone else's, and you may as well say something that is completely untrue. There are obviously still people who own the current M3 and they like the direction the new car is taking and that's fine, but if you were to filter those responses in all the forum threads here and consider only the M3 owners, there'd be a 50-50% split, if not more would be in favor of the V8.

I also remember seeing a lot of these "my next car is M3" people in the E9X forum in the past, a lot of ideas, dreams, and a lot of them ended up in 135s and 335s and started creating 335 vs M3 threads. It's one thing to say it and another to actually take the keys. Just saying
ya thats what i have seen also. hell i even made a thread about that same topic. kind of like a GTR owner not understanding what makes a Ferrari so special.

I have an e9x m3 and this car is awesome.

All the doubters will probably become believers. This car will deliver. My only concerns now are price and will the weight loss actually materialize.

I'm loving the m3, and will buy one

Not digging the M4 wheels depicted here and I think I'm changing my order to a M3 in Sakhir Orange.

Interior looks very good, I'm happy there's daylight from the non M cars. Are the seats partially perforated and conditioned, right at the crotch? Glad they didn't go with a flat bottom wheel. Dash and console in leather and carbon look perfect, lux and purposeful.

Carbon brace and roof completely trick and functional, add carbon brake$ and she's nearly an exotic.

Wheels look much better than the spy picks, lots of depth.

M3 for me, no sense waiting for a maybe GC.

Hmmm.. definitely like the M3 vs M4. Interior looks way better vs the 3 and 4 series. Exterior (hood, rear bumper) looks a bit busy on the M3 and rear fender flares don't look as wide as I had thought, but could be the pictures. Also side vent looks a bit plasticky but better than M4. Digging the design of that CF strut brace, that looks so awesome and unlike anything out there! Loving the seats too!

Actually a while back (Feb 2013), CAR magazine showed some "leaked photos" of the M3 that no one believed at the time, but looks so similar to the final product! Clearly they had an in w/ BMW

What's up with the strange seat perforations. Do we finally get cooled seats? I didn't see it on the order list

The cars are seriously epic. But I really do not find the side gills or rear bumpers attractive at all.

I agree with others that all the small exterior moves, gills, flappy fin things are distracting...but I believe in person this will translate into aggressive and on the road a very distinctive look.

I don't know how I feel about these cars. They look good and the interior is such an improvement over the e9x m3. But how the drive is what matters. If I hear Chris Harris or Jethro Bovingdon say this car is more fun/exciting than my car, I'll get it.
