For many, many years and certainly long before you both started posting to this sub-forum, the members have had a robust, but collegial discussion on all things F1. Yes, weíve poked fun at each other at times, and of course weíve all had our favourites when expressing ourselves; thatís what you do on an Internet forum after all.

But the two of you, with your slavish fanaticism towards all things Max Verstappen, is frankly, IMHO, ruining most of the threads.

Members can no longer have a serious discussion on the merits of one driver; team; strategy, etc. anymore because to the two of you Max can never do anything wrong. When his race is ruined by an obvious personal mistake, you both refuse to accept the fact that it wasnít someone elseís fault. When Max isnít on the top step, or any step of the podium, itís an FIA; Race Steward, etc. conspiracy that kept him from winning. When Mercedes, (like Williams; McClaren; Ferrari and Red Bull in the past), are the dominant team simply because they have innovated better; worked harder; have the best talent, etc., you cry wolf as if that hasnít always been the way of F1 for over three decades now, because Max isnít a member of the team.

In other words, neither of you are being in any way, shape or form objective about the state of the sport simply because your favourite driver isnít dominant. If in a couple of years Red Bull get their act together, and Max becomes F1ís most consistent, (something he desperately lacks currently), and dominant driver, neither of you will acknowledge all of the arguments about why that is Ďbad for the sportí, that you espouse today.

What am I asking?: please do not hijack/ruin every F1 thread by turning it into a ĎMax Verstappen is the best F1 driver ever discussion, and why there is a conspiracy against him being able to demonstrate his greatnessí. It is ruining the whole F1 discussion in this sub-forum, and is extremely selfish. Please think about creating a dedicated Max thread where you can both post everything about Max that youíd like, and letís not have every other thread morph into one about MV.

You can both tell me to go and fuck off; frankly I wouldnít blame you for doing so, but these discussions are so much more enjoyable and informative when each and every post doesnít become simply about one person.

Bish
100% correct.
Its a shame there can't be threads for the grown ups and others for those two clowns.

If you don't like it here then you are free to explore other sites, some which are freely featured for you to see. There is nothing wrong with supporting one driver rather than no one in particular or whoever happens to be leading championship.

I have been trying to find the ignore button for these two since I got here. Other forums have a way of blocking posts from individuals, but I canít find it here.

I have no problem with them supporting Max, as he is indeed a good driver, but the blatant nut sack swinging they do for Max is incredible. Almost comically childish.

You've only made one previous post on here about smoking a pipe, if you can't take the heat then stay out the kitchen.

I blocked them both yesterday which you can do thruí the CP function.

I hated to do it tbh, but this rabid fascination with all things MV is pathologic, and ruinous to all the F1 threads.

I donít have to post every thing that enters my brain, unlike the two of you.

I can actually read a thread with an open mind to everyoneís individual opinion, including yours as I said.
Again, I have no issue with your support of any individual driver, but when all you do is blame his failures on everyone but him it gets a little ridiculous.

There is some really good racing discussion in this thread, and the sub forum in general, I just donít think the majority of posts from the two of you can be included in that statement.

If you're quite sensitive to energetic and driver supportive comments then no one is telling you to follow them.

The chosen one wouldn't necessarily be the one with the most wins and consideration would possibly be taken into how difficult or easy those wins were and remembering car advantage.
We have our favourite drivers or just the teams maybe but let's base out choices on ones that have driven exceptionally hard in the thick of it, if that makes any sense.
I have my own choice of who it should be but instead of me perhaps you guys can put your choice down and why you think so then I'll come in at the end
Richard.
Any chance you can add a Poll to this thread for voting? Would be fun to see.

It was a sort of poll and we have given our choices with the reasons.

Still would be easier for more people to quickly vote rather than having to write a reply.

Would also give a better view of votes.
I think so far I can count the following individual votes off the top of my head, but might be missing some:
Max - 2
Sainz Jr. - 2
Hamilton - 3?
