You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Please don't.

We can't take one more GTS tragedy.

Let F82 just go in peace.

Could it be more m-performance parts like they are offering in the M2 Competition?

the tacked on fenders look like they have many purposes...

1- blisters to allow more air flow at top
2- slits on back side to allow more air flow across the brakes
3- wider fenders to perhaps allow wider wheels and tire combo

It will most likely be registered as a manufacturer's vehicle, meaning it could be anything.

All M4 GT4s are based on the regular US-spec M4.

As a GTS owner who tracks the car the additional aero is interesting, but I think the wheel/tire size is the limiting factor for the current car.

It's registered as an AG car for BMW M. As a street test prototype.
Now what is interesting is that the larger side intake and the rear spoiler almost like a duck tail not the huge wing sitting on top were part of the Aerodynamic pieces I saw.

Most of them were very smooth for Aerodynamic purposes rather than being over sculpted. The front aero intakes were closed off with the vertical air curtain exposed but the space of the intake was designed to allow the airflow into the curtain so it was sculpted.

I am willing to bet they are planning the final outing for the M4.
Now M4 is already pretty radical what with GTS and CS bonnet, hood and trunk fabricated from CFRP so optimising and smoothing off aerodynamics as well as other areas show at least CS, GTS and hypothetically CSL offer further progression.

It is. I know someone who tried multiple custom wheels to fit most tyre possible and still could not get to the limit of the chassis. He ended up buying a M235ir off Will Turner and selling his GTS. Mechanical grip is never going to be optimum on the GTS.

Yes. 275 fronts were the limiting factor in fun on track even in the civic M3. I’m not necessarily saying from a laptime perspective (developing my skills would take far more seconds off the lap times), but killing the front tires is expensive, exasperating, and ultimately limits your time on track.

If the bodywork would allow a 305 front, it would be amazing.

Note to BMW: please give us 305 or better fronts next time, and cutouts in the seats so the darn QuickFits can fit better.

I actually find with camber set accordingly the fronts wore fine, but with a better corner entry the rears will not hook the way you would want even with 305's

Whoa, slow down fellas. IF this is the return of the CSL, and it's coming to N.A. and actually available for purchase (not some BMW FXX K type of thing), hold for the asking price...
