That will all get fixed as my little one doesn't need to be so reclined in her seat.
What car seat pad do you use to protect the leather?
Brica seat guardian. It's one of the firmer pads out there.

Hello all

I don't have any pics unfortunately =( But i am in the market for the whole kit and kaboodle.

Can anyone give me some feedback on my list of goodies for the car + anything i might of missed.

1. Looking to probably get a recaro seat, love the red and black styling.

2. If we end up getting a front facing one which we probably will, a front seat cover that protects the back of it.

3. Back seat cover in case of messy accidents

(edit) 4. Seems like some sort of rear seat mirror might be useful to see the child if the seat is rear facing.

Can anyone let me know if i have missed anything?

Now in regards to the actual seat itself this one seems to be pretty popular in the 4 page thread

http://www.amazon.com/RECARO-Perform...eywords=recaro

Just confirming this works fine in all M3's and fits well? Also the baby will probably start using it from 2 months on so will that strap in and fit a baby 2 months old and up? it says 5-40 pounds on amazon so i assume that should be fine right?

I am new to this so tips from veterans would be great!

Anyone have a recommendation for a booster with back for a F80? Finally time to get my middle child out of the full blown car seat!

Just put a Clek Oobr in my Audi. Pricey, but nice. Has latch fasteners so it's not banging around when he's not in it. No complaints so far.

I have three kids in seats. Clek Fllo in the middle for the baby and Bubble Bums on either side for the 7 and 5 year old.

I still have rear facing and I bought the recaro seat. I think it's the proride. Problem is the damn thing leans too far forward behind the passenger seat. Does anyone have this issue?

I did, and ended up replacing it with a Graco. The Recaro also is built in such a way that makes it really tough to load the kid in when they start getting heavier.

This seat is super difficult to use. I feel like i am squeezing my child into the seat. He looks massively uncomfortable as well.

I might go the same route with the Bubble Bum (we use them for travel) since the regular booster I have is too wide and the kids can't snap in the seat belt by themselves.

Prince Lionheart protectors. used the same ones in my Audi A6 for 4 years and leather was still like new. It does pinch into the headrest about one inch.

Also have a full size front seat back protector. All the ones in the stores were too small. got this on amazon.

And last pic is a warning to be careful with the Latch plastic covers. Mine fell into the hole and I can't get it out. I will forever be haunted by the future rattles from this cheap piece of cr**. And I now have a big hole in my back seat.
Do you by chance have the details on the kick mats you got from Amazon?

I think this will be the kicker that keeps me in the BMW family. I can't do a rear facing seat in a 991.2 cabrio but I can in an F83!
