Best place to sell F80?

Getting ready to sell my F80 in preparation for the new arrival. Curious where people are finding the best place to sell right now.

The used car market is booming right now, so you shouldn't have any problems at all selling it.

If you have a carmax near you then I would go there, they gave me the second highest offer, but it was more convenient for me since it only took an hour versus several days with services like carvana or vroom.

If its a 6 speed, CS, or low mileage well equipped car try the auctions. If its an older higher mileage car you can try private party but if you want to sell it quick a dealer will give you a good price as they need inventory. Your selling at a great time.

Try Kelly Blue Book instant cash offer. You'll get a price and you can bring it right to a participating dealer and get a check. I actually got $500 more after the dealer looked at it

Anecdotally, I had two dealers tell me that Carvana seems to be offering their clients the best money right now. I also just sold my wife's Mercedes on Facebook Marketplace. I put the listing up on Sunday night and by Monday afternoon the car was sold. The used car market being what it is, I also received no fewer than 20 messages from dealers who wanted to buy it for cash on the spot.

I'm selling my 2015 F80 currently. I found KBB instant offer was quite low, but Vroom and Carvana were much better. Dealerships in Michigan under bid heavily as they need inventory and even admitted to me "we're buying low to flip high". I think you'll be able to find a local buyer depending on the spec of your car.

Regards,
Christopher

depends on how you define best. Do you want the most money or the most convenient route ? do you get tax credit on a private sale in your state ?

i always do the private sale so i get the most money.

Just sold through Carvana. Nearly gave me private party prices with none of the hassle. 10/10 would sell through them again.
