For those interested in Brixton, check out this developing thread about their wheels failing.

It's unfortunate that things like this happen, but as a user on those forums stated - it's the risk you take on the track. Either way, buying a set of Brixton should leave very little to no doubt as to their level of customer service based on what happened to that guy. |

I can understand that things happen, especially at the track, but to know that they are standing behind their product should make everyone, including me, feel a lot better. |

So was the cracked wheel a one-off defect/mishap, or is there a larger issue with their design or manufacturing process? |

I would guess that it was cracked because of track use. I have seen (on a couple occasions) $9000 BBS FI-R's crack on the track, so its not like a broken wheel on the racetrack is a huge surprise to me. |

But this is the first time to be heard of Brixton having an "issue" with a wheel. I can say they are very reliable, light weight and strong, track use, that's a whole different ball game. So if you ever wish to buy either from Vivid, my self or any Brixton Dealer, do so witch confidence. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to contact me or Vivid for questions.

They all get the certified by TUV T6-606 aluminum. As per which is the testing standard under TUV I my self have looked around but haven't been able to find it. If you do please let me know the process because I really want to know.

Got a price for those wheels and I was shocked. Kinda of knew they were already expensive. Beautiful wheels though.
