They're a custom shop, so as of right now they don't have a retail website. I was able to find their dealer page from TopGear UK site:

https://www.topgear.co.uk/Topgearmotorworks@gmail.com

I'm local, so I just stopped in initially. But they respond to email as well. Although they just started design and development on my car, so I'm not sure how much more info you're going to get until it's done.

I'll leave it to them to decide how they plan to sell it. But at least you have their contact info now

Local as in Chicago or is your sig old? I'm in Madison so only 2 hrs from Chicago, that would be amazing!

This is great news, let me know if they need another test car or when I can buy one, I'm 100% in! I just got another f80 after being away from the platform for a few years. My only complaint with the car has been sound so this is just the best news.

Are they planning on a M2 Comp. set as well? I'm very close to Downers Grove (wife works in DG) so I'd be happy to let them do some measuring on my car if necessary.

I gave them this photo and the measurement for the "U-bend" and told them to fix it 😁 So basically your initial drawing. Keeping my rear muffler stock.

^^ Just make sure they put the H-pipe as close to the differential as possible to maximize the sound quality of it.

would there be a sound difference between using an X pipe versus a H pipe?

this is a game changer. Sounds amazing Are some opting to do this change at a custom exhaust shop? Is top gear making a cat back system?

I'm excited to hear how the Milltek will sound like with an EQ set-up. Do they already come with a crossover section?

For an M2C, would the additional 14" of pipe still apply (as opposed to a different or shorter measurement)? The M2C has a shorter wheelbase, but it seems like the discrepancy of equal length is upstream at the level of the downpipes, and thus the additional piping needed would be the same for the M2C as for the M3/4. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe the downpipes are the same, so yes, compensate 14 inches on shorter side before merge.

Spread the knowledge dude! I'm happy to see cool things developing with the exhaust idea
I went traveling to Singapore and Malaysia for the holidays with my family so no tinkering with my lady's BMW took place. Honestly I've lost the plot a little regarding my interest in pursuing exhaust production. Too many other shiny things grab my attention So ntg, I trust that Top Gear will make a nice product.

"The solution to this is to create equal-length exhaust pipes before they merge, just like in any other exhaust system on other platforms."

What happens if they don't merge and you just simply dump the driver side exhaust out 14" earlier? I was originally planning to install a cutout exhaust valve on one side after the resonator for basically a "half muffler delete" on demand and then came across this thread... would it do anything magical?
