Great car for the intended purpose. Question about the steering wheel: what is the purpose of the cover with 3 screws?

After the airbag delete, it's strictly cosmetic. The fabricationist didn't want to leave a big empty and ugly hole. #missleworks #customfabrication

Track build.

Epic build!!!! I still can't bring myself to molest my interior and start drilling holes for a wing.

Add your build here 😀. Post your M3/M4 track build https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1682520

What track times have you seen with the upgrades? I'm interested to see how much your times improved with all that weight reduction and the modifications you made vs stock if you are willing to share any of that information. Either way top notch build and definitely cool to see a car stripped down and as devoted as this.

Unfortunately, the weight savings were less the 175#. While that is an improvement, after the roll cage it was not as much as expected. Still a heavy car!
It's spring in Colorado so LOTS of snow. The first AutoX scheduled for 2-16 was canceled. I'm dreaming of Cali sunshine and getting out on the track.

How centered or off centered is your Circuit 2? I was finally able to center my Sparco QRT-R using the QRT-R specific mount from Sparco. Being kinda short, the seat is further forward then most and the seat is pushing in the carpet and center console plastic a bit. But it is centered!

Also curious what floor adapters and side mounts were used. I'd like to upgrade to a halo seat one day.

Love it. Love the caliper color. Do you have a paint code for Ferrari orange? I think they would match well with my SMB

Looks awesome!!!
This has always been my favorite color, especially on the E46.
Question, why not gut the front doors, as well as the dash?
