Figuring out what I want to change on mine when it finally comes... what do you all have coded on yours? (Right now).

Here's my list:

• Euro-MDM
• Seat move back/forward when door open/close
• Radio/iDrive (MMI) off when door open with ignition off
• Unlock doors when ignition switched off
• Beep when locking but no beep when unlocking
• Fold/unfold mirrors with key fob/comfort access
• Close windows with door open
• Open/close windows with key fob
• Reduce delay for window roll and mirror fold
• Variable Light Distribution (all 3 steps) (cannot code NGHB since I don't have HBA )
• Turn off amber side marker
• Activate rear fogs
• Use front cornering lights as fogs
• Door handle LEDs light up when reversing
• Euro flashing emergency brake lights
• Coding for rear LED turn signals
• Remove iDrive legal disclaimers on start-up
• Only one reminder chime for safety belts (instead of continuous)
• Automatically reset trip computer after 2 hours (instead of 4)
• Reduce low fuel warning from 9 liters to 6 liters
• Ambience light intensity independent from dash dimmer
• Activate Cruise Control Limiter function

After some playing around I have settled on the below:

-ASD disabled via HU_NBT (tolerable amount of active sound piped into the cabin)
-Fold/unfold mirrors keyfob/CA
-Open/close windows with keyfob/CA
-Rear fog lights
-Coding for front turn signals, rear turn signals, and brake lights (LED bulb retrofit)
-Turn off MMI when driver's door is opened
-Brake force flashing with hard braking
-Ambient lighting independent from gauge cluster dimmer switch
-Enhanced bluetooth
-BMW Office
-Full text message display on Office while moving/driving

BUT-
I plan on getting just about all of these codes done including maybe the ASD off if it bothers me. (Have to wait to daily drive with it)
Does anyone know if it is better to wait till after the first 1200 mile service to perform these coding changes? Read on forum some comments about maybe waiting because the Dealer's 1200 mile code reset may wipe some features coded in.

For those in the Southern California area near our shop, coding is quick and painless. We spend time going over all the features when completed so you you have a clear understanding on how everything works.

It depends on the individual dealership. The safe bet would be to simply wait until after the 1200mi service.

Bummer, I'm on the other coast. I'll get a cable and do it myself..

I fucked it up on my E90 somehow and the whole car went limp for a day until I got the right files. Scary! Would prefer someone to take care of it for me, oh well!
