If I don't get a PPF put on the guy there is doing a full detail with Gtechniq Crystal Serum and EXO, all the glass with G1 (i think it is) and the full wheels with C* whatever number is it. For about £300-£400..

Looking at your timeline Foggy, once the car is built it seems to be pretty quick? I'm waiting for my M2. Last Tuesday I believe it started production. I emailed BMW today and it is now at 8200 "released to carrier". When would you expect the next stages to be, and when would it be at the dealer's do you think?

Initially I was told delivery third week in August. A few weeks ago that changed to 1st week in September. Today they told me week beginning 5th September. That's another extra week. I'm not being impatient, it's just that unless I collect by 6th September at the latest, I will not be able to collect it for several weeks due being on holiday.

I think a bit of it is luck. if your car happens to make it to port at the right time then off it goes, otherwise it could be sat around for a few days to a week waiting. just guessing though.

mine has been on track and the dates haven't changed after the original 12 week delay.. because of individual leather and leather dash combo.

Good news foggy. How many weeks have you waiting for this?

Although probably a god-send waiting this long as it turns out. If you’d have had it when some of us had ours, you’d have been waiting for a diff fix.

Indeed it's worked out very well and too be honest waiting for the car is bad but also part of it at the same time. Kind of enjoyable knowing something good is on the way.
