The mock up block is mounted. It fits perfectly. This will make it less difficult to work on it.

Subbing. Looks like the engine is sitting pretty low in the bay. I'm curious once everything is on how high it'll be.

The mock up oil pan is a little low. The accessory's are mid mounted. Motor is currently being build will be done by the end of the year.

Isn't the LS relatively small/low height in general? I recall some sort of debate/discussion about racing Corvettes having an advantage due to the size/height of the LS motor, and Ferrari (of all brands - LOL) complaining about it.

So, maybe it is positioned correctly?

You're right and that was my thought. LS motors are quite compact in size. It was more noticing that it's sitting lower than the S55.
