14mm - 12mm conversion

I don't know why you'd do that. 14mm are significantly stronger than 12mm. Would be a downgrade.

The main reason I guess is just because there's such a lack of compatibility with the vast majority of lug applications. I've had a lot of trouble finding any sort of brand that makes lugs in a 14x1.25 size.

Macht Schnell makes them. You can get them, like I did, through European Auto Source (EAS): http://europeanautosource.com/macht-...-20mm-235.html

Instead of me starting a new thread, I'll inquire here.

Anyone know how fitment would be if buying used 19" wheels (or even new) off an E92 M3?

Question Please Help Identify this Awesome Wheel

Hey guys, I really like this Wheel Design I saw on a new lowered M4 at Supercar Sunday this past weekend in Woodland Hills, CA, but I couldn't find the owner.

Can anyone identify it for me? It has machined cutouts on the inside of the rim between the spokes. So it could be fairly light. It's the only nice looking performce wheel I've seen on an M4. I'd like the light BBS race wheels, but they are priced a $1,000 each.

The only problem I see here is the offset is so much there isn't clearance to run wider than stock tires, but possibly he is running spacers (note the wider wheel studs)>

Let me know if you can identify this wheel without guessing. Thanks!

That's really aggressive. I don't think that would work in an 11 inch rear

Possibly, I see you're running 19x10 et 25 19x11 et 35. I may bump my rears to 30 just in case. Don't really want a stretched look.

Hi Guys,

Have an F80 due in the new year and looking at wheel options. I was contemplating the 433 wheel from the M6 but feel the rears are way too aggressive. Having said that I don't know how conservative the oem 19" wheels are for guard clearance.

433 specs
20 x 9.5 +31 (+4mm over 19") front
20 x 10.5 +19 (+27mm over 19") rear

thoughts?

Thanks.

fronts will be 8mm more aggressive than stock (should definitely fit and be noticeably more aggressive, but not overly aggressive.

first of all, I wouldn't recommend a narrower wheel like that, its important to have wider wheels that support the sidewalls fully. BMW engineers in slightly stretched wheels/tires which IMO help decrease body roll and aid in steering sharpness. so I would highly recommend at least a 9/10 inch width, especially with a 255/275 tire.

that said, here are the results.

rears will be 12mm more aggressive than stock, and look about right.

again, I wouldn't recommend narrower wheels, but it can be done and it will fit.

its hard to say what the most aggressive fitment is, because we don't know how much more offset the car can take and still fit in the fenders. it also depends on if you will lower your car etc....
I went with the Klassen M52R with 9.5 front ET 20 and 11 inch rear ET 40. What do you think of that look? Tires will be 265/35/19 and 305/30/19.

Hello!
I hope this isn't frowned upon too much! I've seen some used OEM 19" M4 wheels on eBay. Anyone know if they would fit my F31 335D Msport Xdrive?
Thanks!

Compared to 19" f30/31 wheels, they'll stick out 20mm in the front and 26mm in the rear. Plus you'll need to change the tires because of the xDrive.

Many thanks for your help. Is the tyre change due to rubbing on the xdrive suspension or something like that?
