Choosing wheel width

Hey guys!

I am looking to get some new wheels for my F82.

I am wondering which size should I choose? I want to go for 18 inch wheels, just debating on width of the wheel.

I've narrowed it down to
Front:18x9.5
Rear:18x10.5

or
Front:18x9.5
Rear: 18x10

Planning to run Michelin 4S in 265/40ZR18 and 285/40ZR18 sizes.

What would look better, do you think?

Nice to see all these sets in the wild! Thanks for picking up these wheels guys. Do you mind if we upload these photos to our online galleries/site? Happy to credit social media accounts or photographers if needed.

For anyone looking to pick up a set of these 18" VS-5RS, we have a re-run Group Buy that is live now and can save you up to $300.00 off a set: https://www.gangup.com/apex/18-forge...t-q3-2022.html

Looks fantastic. I'd love to see pics with the springs, I'm considering this setup and currently running Eibach V2s with BC Forged KL01 in 20" (after the comfort and grip of 18s).

KW Has Kit + SM10 + 5MM spacers up front.

10MM for the rear shortly, as well as some new to me painted calipers.

Hey qq guys. Would 255/35r18 and 275/35r18 be okay (instead of stock 40 profile) on stock 18" 513m wheels for the track?

What is the impact for track duty with lower profile tires? Should i expect better or worse or no difference in performance with all other things equal?

Looking at Federal 595RS-RR tires since i had good luck with them previously, they are cheap and they come in this size.

Did you get your springs installed. Would love to see the taller tire on a lowered car.

+25 offset all around? did you need any spacers or additional camber in the front to clear the MPHAS?

No spacers needed and you're correct on the +25 offsets. I have -2.5 degrees camber upfront on Ground Control camber plates and -2 degrees in the rear.

Otherwise, let me if there are any errors or omissions.

I'm hoping supply chain issues don't force me to the Federal FZ tire.
I wish there were more non-comp options for 305/35/18's

Just saw this. I am running KW Clubsport 2 way coils. And yes, needs 12mm spacer upfront to clear the coilover
