Financial advice for a new lease

I know you are still in high school but I suggest one of the first things you do when you start college is sign up for a finance class for non majors that covers things like compound interest/general financial planning for the future.

Maybe you have already crunched the numbers but have you done calculations to estimate the future value of your current savings for say 10, 20 and 40 years from now?
