Looks like FleetMon is delayed. We are already underway for Panama Canal, about 950 miles, arrival estimated by 6:00pm on Dec 24th. I guess the brief San Juan pitstop was for fuel and not loading/unloading lots of cargo.

After the long slow crossing of the Atlantic it's nice to be down near the Caribbean and South America where its easier to see progress with the close by islands. Below is a screenshot from 8:30 this morning.
I heard on the radio that shipping traffic on the west coast is kind of a mess right now due to congestion in Long Beach. This is having a ripple effect as they are diverting traffic to other ports including Oakland, CA. This is causing delays everywhere. I hope we are not caught up in this. |

Its almost 11:00pm PST. Christmas eve is winding down, My boy is asleep, my in-laws are going to bed in our guest rooms, my wife and I will be cleaning up the leftovers of beef tenderloin, Lynch Bages Bordeaux wine and Pappy Van Winkle 10yr Bourbon. I was really hoping to sneak away and see our Hercules Leader making its was through the canal. Instead it seems to be chilling in the harbor, amongst a shit ton of other boats possibly waiting to pass through.
MY boy will wake up in the morning, Santa will have brought him a Lego set, but I would be a happy boy if Santa could somehow push our ship through the canal. When I placed my order back in July, it never occurred to me that Christmas would come and I would still be without my first M car. Shit happens, delays in productions, whatever. I can get all upset about the delays or instead take a moment to be grateful that I and you all are fortunate enough to purchase these luxury items. Merry Christmas to all of you, here's hoping it's all smooth sailing here on out. |

Well at least you guys will probably get your cars before I do since my car was an ED and my CA said ED cars typically take longer to get processed =[

I just re-read my post. I was kinda drunk and vaguely remember typing it but it seems like I was in a good mood.
I was happy to see Hercules Leader well on its way through the Panama Canal this afternoon. If I am reading this correctly we are coming into view of the Miraflores Locks webcam. The UASC Shuaiba is now exiting, theres a tanker up next and Hercules is just coming into view. Check it out here: http://www.pancanal.com/common/multi...flores-hi.html |

Hello everyone, checking the progress today, the ship is slowly making its way up the coast. For some reason my screenshot is not embedding. Maybe a link will work

a have been watching the comments and the progress of Hercules Leader as it makes its journey to California. My 428i GC M Sport is also on the same ship.
This is my first BMW after reluctantly abandoning my orphan car since know one could work on it any more, but I am sure know one wants to hear a SAAB story. I understand that, as commented from one of the many reviewers of the car, the M sport 428 can be considered a poser, but the improved look, suspension, and steering wheel are worth the added cost and what ever else goes with it. Thank you for posting the video of the ship in the Panama Canal locks and its progress over the Atlantic. I have still screen shots of the ship leaving the Gatun Lock as it left the first set of locks at 10:25 AM Canal posted time. I just joined the sight and once I get it figured out I will upload the pictures. I live in Santa Clarita and I am toying with the idea of going to the Hueneme port to see if I could see them unloading cars and take pictures for our Northern CA ship followers, since my family will be out of town and won't be whiteness to my car/ship stocking. If anyone else is interested let me know. There was some concern about our ship getting balled up in the Long Beach ship traffic fluster cluck. Good news, the Hueneme port seems dedicated to cars with what appears to be no support for container ships, according to the satellite photos. Our schedule should not be impacted. If you are in the LA area, my dealer tells me it will be a week from when it rolls off the boat to when we will get the call it is ready for deal closure, pick up, and play. Ordering my first BMW my biggest error was not getting the M Brakes. Not only for the Brembo breaks, but for the tires that optimizes that chasses. |

So how are things looking today? Still on schedule to port hueneme on Jan 2?
@GAS428 Pictures of the ship would be cool if you actually make it out there. My car will be off-loaded at that port but I'm bringing it back to the bay. |

Our Cars are passing Puerto Vallarta towards Baja. Agreed January 1st Midnight (Compute for UTC to pacific time is -8 hours)
I will try to get out there for pictures, I think I am possessed enough I also just got good news from Dinan. The tune has been approved by CA Emissions "Verbally" and they are now just waiting for the ( Number?) My 4 popper will dump out over 300+ HP and 300+ FT-LB with 200+lb less weight than the 6 cylinder. with the Center of gravity shifted towards the back (Powered Hatch Back). I am Begging the dealer now to swap out the winter Box tires for Summer staggered tires. BMW & Dinan mated and gave birth to the latest Rat Motor |

OK here is the deal, I called HUENEME port, the nice lady sent me to Security, who sent me to Public Relation, and he said it is possible to get close enough to the ship for pictures " Escorted". Since he will be in Los Vegas he is looking for people to hold my hand.
He will call back once he has a volunteer. If anyone else is interested, call me Grant 661-220-9831 before he calls me back. I do not know when that will be. Ship will start unloading at 8:00 AM and We will have access at 9:00 AM Pacific time on Friday. |
