I'm confused about these two videos. The first one shows the motorcycle blast in between the two race cars just about 3 or 4 seconds before the crash. The second video shows the motorcycle blast past them a good 30 seconds before the crash.
Maybe the first video is everything that happens when the phone gets put down on the second video and there's a second motorcycle that speeds between them. But it's weird that you don't hear the motorcycle right before the crash nor do you see it coming up when the phone is pointed backwards. |

There is another angle where you can see that the driver did in fact have a blow out as mentioned earlier, and then went into the barrier. Driver is recovering and awake, he has lost both his legs with no other major injuries. Passenger had a few cuts on his fingers and that's it. We are still waiting to see what law enforcement will be doing about this. |

I won’t lie. I used to street race, back in the 00s when I was young and dumb. It took a close acquaintance and friend of my friends to die in a street race to see the light. It really can happen in an instance.
Stupidity outside, what’s the point of racing an m4 in an m3 lol- same motors same car. If he was doing it for peen purposes then that was dumb, especially at 200mph wtf. All that said- hope he’s ok. We all make dumb mistakes, losing his legs over this will haunt him for the rest of his life and that’s sad, especially considering there is video documentation. |

Natural selection at its finest. Only sympathy I have is for bystanders/other people who get hurt/killed in these types of situations.
A car is a 3000+ lb gun if you want it to be. |

Plain recklessness and stupidity. Driver was married father of two. He could have killed himself and many around him. I hope he learned his lesson and is a cautionary tale for those of us who love to go fast. Take it to the track!

Please Let This Remind Everyone
Figured I would post this for those of us that occasionally get crazy on the streets. Did a quick search and did not see that anyone had posted it. Very sad for everyone involved and hope everyone makes a speedy recovery.

I saw that on facebook the other day. I guess the driver lost his legs but the passenger was ok. I heard he had a time blow out...

Did some quick googling and some article said he was doing 200 mph and lost control (he lost both legs and his passenger walked away with a scratch). Wreck less driving on public streets, this guy is lucky to be alive and didn't hurt any innocent people.

Aren't MPSS's, the OEM tire, rated at Y? 186mph? I wonder if he war running some other tires and if the blowout was from the speed alone or road conditions etc.
