M3 ZCP out CS Welcome Home :)

Hey guys

As I been a member here for many years and after spending many times with the 4 F80 Generation M cars I have owned I wanted to introduce the new CS.

In November I picked up a 18 F80 Comp 6MT with all the right equipment and all the M Performance ad-ons already on it and it felt like everything was just right. That all ended when the CS matched the current F80 residuals and market support was enhanced and dealers started to make some aggressive deals.

My color preferences were LRG, BSM or SMB in that order. My dealer was lucky enough to have BSM and SMB in stock but weren`t willing to dealer trade and wanted to sell from stock. After countless nights back and fourth with pics and videos I decided to choose BSM. I know it is a lot of maintenance but I keep my cars immaculate and love black when it`s clean.

During the past month I been working with my dealer to find the right deal to make sense with getting me out of my 36 month lease just after 3 months in. I been a loyal customer for years and they were able to take me out with just a little negative equity (2K) on my trade and $22 bucks more a month and I was out and this beast was mine.

All I can say is WOW this is a completely different car than the ZCP, more refined the steering the suspension the styling everything it`s just perfect.

All of my F80`s (15 M4, 16 M4, 16 ZCP F80 and then my recent 18 ZCP F80 were all 6MT so this was my going to be my first DCT. I was extremely nervous to make the switch and after spending all day in the car yesterday all I can say is this transmission is phenomenal the shifts are seamless and the power band is incredible.

My plans before summer are to do some suspension (Either KW HAS or H&R Sport Springs) spacers, AA Mid pipe and some interior goodies. Tints and IND Reflectors are going on as we speak.

Car looks beautiful! Do you happen to know how the stock CS exhaust compares to an M-Performance exhaust?

The're completely different. The CS stock exhaust is based on the Sport exhaust from the competition package.

Congrats on the CS and the switch to DCT. Not a lot people can do that after driving a manual for so long. But I can also can tell not a lot guys can switch out that many times for the same M car. You sure love your M 3/4 cars. Congrats again.

Thank you guys, truly love it. TBH thought the exhaust would of been louder but who knows maybe needs to be broken in

Love it looks beautiful congrats.. I was thinking of switching also but I would hate to mod it since it's "limited" feel like I would kill the resale value.. but you leased so it's different..
