First, once you posted the Courant link I said OK.

Second, I didn't say HCQ didn't work. Your meme is not true and you are not equipped to understand why it would seem. I am sorry. That's the last I'm going to discuss anything with you. It's just not productive.

And the article was about the antibody titers in the blood, if you decide to read it instead of calling it old news. It is, in fact, new news.

Is it also Trump's fault Italy, Iran, Spain, Belgium... also got infected with more deaths per capita than the US?

What's the opposite of TDS? When a patient can't recognize any fault in the orange man, even claiming that the color is a result of regular sunbathing?

Who could ever predict that in a disease with growing evidence of cardiac complications that it would be a bad idea to give a combo of two drugs that are cardiotoxic? I still hold out hope that hydroxychloroquine will be somewhat helpful if administered early.

CDC doesn't require TESTS to confirm COVID before it's coded as COVID death. If symptoms are present... that's enough. Crazy.

Yes, because there are not enough tests and you can tell if someone has COVID-19 based on their CT scan or chest X-Ray when the disease has progressed. I'm not sure why this is shocking or crazy to you? Maybe you should let the medical experts decide how to handle medicine. This is exactly how it's handled everywhere else in the world right now.

Why do you even care? Are you this paranoid that everything going on in the world is a conspiracy against Trump? You might want to seek help. If I had any choice between Trump and making this virus go away, I'd sign up for 4 more years this second. I'd wear a MAGA hat if it went away tomorrow. I almost feel sad for you that everything is so black and white and there is nothing else.

Okay? What does that have to do with this? The proper way to identify cause of death in a COVID-19 patient has nothing to do with the current President or next President.

I'm sorry for attacking you before, I feel sorry for you.

Dude probably does not have the right to vote for reason or another anyway given the nature of his troll posts. Just ignore him. Don't feed the troll.

No. I'm not even a registered Democrat, btw. I just thought the POTUS shouldn't be giving medical advice via twitter, that's all.

If it wasn't for Trump, this would've been much worse, remember how the leftists called Trump a racist for banning flights to and from China.

Europe eventually also followed Trump!

Let's hear opinions on what prevented the US from doing this:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/04/w...eath-rate.html
Quote:
In mid-January, long before most Germans had given the virus much thought, Charité hospital in Berlin had already developed a test and posted the formula online.

By the time Germany recorded its first case of Covid-19 in February, laboratories across the country had built up a stock of test kits.
Quote:
At the end of April, health authorities also plan to roll out a large-scale antibody study, testing random samples of 100,000 people across Germany every week to gauge where immunity is building up.
Quote:
On a Friday in late February, Professor Streeck received news that for the first time, a patient at his hospital in Bonn had tested positive for the coronavirus: A 22-year-old man who had no symptoms but whose employer — a school — had asked him to take a test after learning that he had taken part in a carnival event where someone else had tested positive.

In most countries, including the United States, testing is largely limited to the sickest patients, so the man probably would have been refused a test.

Not in Germany. As soon as the test results were in, the school was shut, and all children and staff were ordered to stay at home with their families for two weeks. Some 235 people were tested.
Quote:
Before the coronavirus pandemic swept across Germany, University Hospital in Giessen had 173 intensive care beds equipped with ventilators. In recent weeks, the hospital scrambled to create an additional 40 beds and increased the staff that was on standby to work in intensive care by as much as 50 percent.

“We have so much capacity now we are accepting patients from Italy, Spain and France,” said Susanne Herold, a specialist in lung infections at the hospital who has overseen the restructuring. “We are very strong in the intensive care area.”
Never mind, here's the answer:
Quote:
Ms. Merkel, a trained scientist, has communicated clearly, calmly and regularly throughout the crisis, as she imposed ever-stricter social distancing measures on the country. The restrictions, which have been crucial to slowing the spread of the pandemic, met with little political opposition and are broadly followed.

The chancellor’s approval ratings have soared.

“Maybe our biggest strength in Germany,” said Professor Kräusslich, “is the rational decision-making at the highest level of government combined with the trust the government enjoys in the population.”

Never mind, here's the answer:
We clearly have problems at several levels of the CDC (and FDA to a lesser extent) as well. How our testing became such a debacle is sad.

Unrelated, trials of camostat starting in Denmark:
