I'll have a full review up soon, when all the clips are uploaded. But what I can say for now is the tone is really next level. I was able to stand outside the car and hear TGM do some pulls, and honestly, it's unlike anything I've ever heard, S55 or otherwise. These videos came out really well, but in person I was speechless. Could not stop laughing when I heard it the first time. That this exhaust could be this loud outside the car, and at the same time be so docile inside the car under light load that you can drive with valves open 100% of the time, it's amazing to me. In my opinion, TGM really nailed it.

I'm so happy to have been a part of this, and I really think the TGM tone beats any exhaust that came out before it. I look forward to what's coming from other companies, the bar has been set
The real test will be with downpipes. Sounds great with cats.

The Top Gear exhaust sounds really good in those outside driveby clips. Can't wait to hear one with downpipes!

Does the Top Gear system still require a separate valve controller or have they integrated it with the onboard controls?

Reuses one OEM actuator from the stock exhaust, and includes a resistor plug for the other side to eliminate any soft errors (No CEL regardless). You can plug in the stock harness and have complete OEM operation, but a CG Precision controller for the valve is also included in the price.

I cant believe others bought any of the terrible sounding systems that are out there now for big dollars to boot. Your car sounds terrific. While I'm not fan of the price, this space will be crowded soon thanks to you and I'll likely be able to get something at a price I'm more agreeable to.

There is one guy in Germany who has developed a new exhaust for the BMW M4 which is not exactly equal-length but uses a single exhaust tube that merges after cats and then re splits for the secondary cats ( I believe this is the key of the sound it achieves since merging the two tubes after primary cats dampens the resonance/metallic sound waves (like the original AA single-midpipe did) and then re splitting them to rejoin them makes that effect again so it basically kills the bad frequencies and kind of sounds like an equal-length exhaust not needing the extra length on one pipe.

Check his instagram post with the videos and the sound it makes. It sound really good. Maybe this is another way arround the sound of the stock s55.

This sounds badass. Would have instantly bought it if it were not for the equal length breakthrough. Wish I knew about it earlier! The pitch is lower, but otherwise, I hear what you're getting at. Nice find.

Sounds good for an S55, basically just more bass and no rasp. However nowhere near as good as an equal length. The same guy posted videos on here claiming it was equal length and you could clearly tell it was not.

It looks cool as hell but it sounds the same as a stock ZCP with AA single mid-pipe (non-EL)

Not quite an EL system which sounds like a mix of 2JZ and Porsche Flat 6.

A great company always puts their staff first.

Whenever you get a chance, please post more videos of your amazing EL mid-pipe with downpipes. I've watched your IG teaser video probably a hundred times by now.

AA,

Have you all considered merging the two banks after being EL (vs an H-pipe or X-pipe), and then routing it around the diff (3.25-3.5" pipe) and split off again to attach back to the OE pipes?

Just an idea. Theory behind my thought process is that it would give it more of a single-turbo'd sound since the two banks have a greater opportunity to mix sound waves within that single pipe section.

They couldn't do one clip where they leave the camera behind and pull away?

Two more videos of the Valvetronic Equal Length Exhaust.

A camera can only tell so much of the story, I'd love to hear this in person.

Damn, all these production-ready EL exhausts sound so good now. It's hard to choose!

I guess it's down to price and tip design.

I wonder if the Valvetronic system integrates with the OEM exhaust valve?

A better video they just posted today on YouTube.

Looks like pricing is up on their website as well. $2990 with free shipping.

First 5 orders get 15 percent off so roughly $2500 for the full system!!! NOW THIS IS HOW YOU PRICE AN EXHAUST, WOW!! The quality from their other systems look amazing, I was waiting for the AA system but I'm really tempted to jump on this. I just wished we had a better picture of how the system looks, from the video clips it might look a bit goofy from the rear but maybe just the angles.

It will integrate into the OEM valve plug thus controlling it through Comfort/Eco and Sport/Sport+ modes. Pictures of the actual system should be coming soon!
