Brake pads

Hey guy

Need recommendation on brake pads what does everyone recommend?

Daily driver no race or track usage and the occasional fun sprint.

2014 m4 coupe

Thanks

I'd recommend Ferodo DS2500. I use them on the street - nice bite and high fade resistance for spirited driving. I also switch over to DS1.11 for dedicated track work.

Agreed, the ds2500 is a great pad and is more than sufficient for steet and spirited drives. Perfect choice.
However don't discount the stock pads for normal street use. I had them and pushed them on the street and found them great and never really pushed it beyond what it was capable of on the street and very spirited road drives.

I do swap however from street pads to pagid rs29s for the track.

Push stock pads and get warped rotors. Expect noise and dust from higher performance pads - accept that, then you're on your way! Stock rotors and performance pads (maybe a little cooling) will get you anywhere on a track! Slotted rotors will have higher noise, but better longevity (no cracks from drilled holes). RSL29 track and (noisy) street. Impressed mate in 488 with my brakes

Stick with stock for sure! Unless you're trying to save some money... in that case I'd go with the Powerstops from Amazon which also just happen to give significantly less brake dust.

As long as you don't track you'll be fine... no matter how spirited you drive.
