Vorsteiner sent me detailed installation instructions yesterday. It's a two man job but looks simple enough. I'll give it a shot this weekend and will report back. Hopefully I don't encounter fitment issues like the OP.

For those members/vendors that have installed this diffuser, how long did it take, was there drilling involved, and was it as easy as IND's DIY video?

Thanks in advance guys.
We get it done in about an hour... price is almost a 1/3rd of what you were quoted.

Very rarely does it take more than an hour

Thanks for the info. It's right in line with what I would expect based on the instructions. This forum once again saves me from making an unwise decision.

You need to take the rear bumper off to get it to fit correctly. I had one shop attempt to put it on and it looked like that then took it to EAS and they took off the rear bumper and had to bore out the clip holes a tiny bit in the bumper for it to snap in securely. Fits perfect now.

I did not remove my rear bumper and the install was a breeze... 30 minutes

Fitment is 10/10

Agreed. No need to remove the bumper to install this.

Well mine didn't but it was because the holes in the bumper weren't big enough. They fixed that and problem solved.

Well I ended up taking the DIY plunge this weekend and talked a buddy into helping me out. The install turned out GREAT and I saved at least a hundo in the process!

Gotta say it was much easier than I expected. We followed the instructions Vorsteiner sent me and got it done in a little over an hour. No bumper removal required. The hardest part was trying to find the predrilled holes while sliding beneath the car since we didn't have anything to keep the car propped up.

During the install we noticed that the screws stated in the instructions didn't match the screws that came with the diffuser. The ones that came with the diffuser were smaller and shorter than the #14 1.5-2.5 screws described but they worked perfectly. So if anyone ends up losing the bag of screws that came with the diffuser, I would recommend getting something like #10 1.25-2.00 stainless steel screws instead of the sizes stated in their instructions.

Last but not least I want to thank Golan at AutoTalent for his attention to detail and for hooking me up with a great piece!

Glad it worked out Thomas! Didn't think you would end up installing yourself

I know most of the issues have been sorted out but i just wanted to reassure people about the fitment of this part. I had supremepower do the install for me and it was very quick and painless. The part fits 100% perfect with no gaps or any issues.

Well, that sucks...
Why don't you contact Vorsteiner? I was considering purchasing the new GTS for sale but now seeing this I am unsure.
