Hi

I'm looking to get CS package for my stock m4. Just wondering:
1. if this mapping is from OEM m3/4 cs map or it is just a tune to match m3/4 cs performance.
2. What the benefit to flash the DCT transmission software
3. Is the 15% discount still going?

No, we have tuned many M3/M4 on the latest software release, as well as many M2 Comp vehicles that also share the newer bootloader. We were aware of this planned software change months before it was rolled out. We have heard of many other platforms that have failed flashing these latest versions and have recovered a number of cars flashed with other systems that were unsuccessful.

1. Exact OEM mapping - although non performance related changes are made to the software to make it compatible with a non factory CS.
2. DCT software improves not only daily drivability and smoothness but is also better matched for the upgraded power when driving more aggressively. It is a very welcomed and noticeable operational difference.

CS vs GTS flash?

Should I get the cs or gts flash and why?

Been in contact with super helpful and transparent Mike-I'm a noob trying to decide between a cs and gts flash on a base, no mods 2018 f80 DCT. The cs flash is +28hp/+37ft/lbs; the gts is +55hp/+37ft/lbs. Both are the same price, and Mike likes both the same.

At first I was all about the the cs as it seemed safer somehow. But as I continue to ponder, I figure I'm already risking being flagged if something goes wrong, might as well take 27 extra ponies. All comments greatly appreciated-thank you!

I was in the same boat as you, and decided to go with the CS tune. I figured it's safer since the GTS has additional cooling, but more importantly the car already struggles with traction and has more than enough power for the street.

And btw, I cannot express how awesome and helpful Mike has been. Plus it's great to see his dedication to our platform as some tuners vanish as soon as newer platforms are released.

I was under the impression that BPM was going to make it possible to have various tune files available for their customers (i.e. CS, Stage 1, etc) but it would have taken time because they were making them with different options or something like that (i.e. cold start on/off, flaps OEM/always open, CEL correction for downpipes yes/no, etc)

If that is still the case then the decision on which one you choose first should be less of a concern.

But not much activity regarding that has been posted in a while.

Sorry for the slow updates, we've been working on a number of projects including the S55 Powered E30, Harrop Stage II calibrations, and G series vehicles. Had the pleasure of tuning a beautiful CS today in Colorado that will be attending shift sector tomorrow

Hi all, I already reached out to BPM so waiting for their reply. Right now I think I'm stuck. After flashing my F80 M3 and currently at the step to write the coding data to my DME from the Diagnostics menu. I was presented with an error called "File invalid length" and cannot proceed from there. So I decided to turn my car's ignition off and wait for the mean time. After turning off the ignition I heard something whining in my car (fuel pump?) and had a mini panic attack. Maybe I did something wrong but I hope I did not brick my car's DME....anyways hopefully someone here can help me out.

Update:
Problem solved. I was erroneously trying to use my tune to program instead of my original coding data. Car works fine with Sport+ auto rev match enabled!

Definitely, GTS is actually a better candidate for Stage I or Stage II as we further utilize the factory water injection system to keep temperatures in check.

Honestly, I think their claim of that they tuned cars with the new software is not true. We haven't seen any solid evidence yet to back it up
