I just want a warranty where there is no BS in getting things covered that are in the contract.

You can research any of the companies listed and hear complaints about coverage being denied.

I would think that buying an extended warranty from the reputable dealer where I purchased my car would mean I can avoid the games.

Fidelity premium coverage is the exclusionary coverage, they listed things that are not covered on the contract. I’m just here to list a good contact for people that want to get fidelity, you have to research on which is the best EW for you. I don’t want to argue which one is better than the other. They all have very bad reviews online because people only write reviews when things don’t work out. Btw, my co worker just got a brand new v8 engine on his 100k miles x5 paid by fidelity, that’s why I went with them.

That is why the factory sponsored warranty is so expensive (2/75k for my 13' M6 cost $5200, w/a $250 off msrp discount). Dealer fixed everything with no issues, always gave me a loaner, $50 deductible, and I did get my money's worth.

Just locked in a 2yr/24k mile Fidelity- Platinum level warranty with Troy. $100 deductible for $2300.

Could have just put that toward mods, but this helps me sleep better at night.

Hey there, no offense as I know you're doing your best to help forum members, but I wouldn't call these deals "killer". I won't divulge the exact amount I was quoted last week for my M4 with 32k miles currently on the ODO for an extra 3/75k, but it was over $6k. That is VERY expensive.

Not trying to be difficult here in anyway, but I was certainly expecting the deal to be better than that. If prices have gone up again recently it makes sense, and I do appreciate the nice lady (Christine) taking her time to look up the policy for me and contacting me promptly (yes I did mentioned I was a forum member). I have no doubt you're helping over MSRP costs, but folks shouldn't be expecting a miracle here.

yes BMW warranties are expensive, however we do sell them almost at cost TBH, and I would be confident in saying we most likely will be cheaper then any quote you get from most dealers. When you call you need to ask for Checa not Christine and you need to let her know your a forum member so she knows to give you the discounted rate. We do not offer the discount to anyone only to forum members (I know you stated you said that, thank you)

BMW warranties took a big uptick in price last year across the board. they may have raised them recently as well I am not sure since they are always changing in various ways but we do sell them very cheap, now is the hefty price tag of a BMW warranty worth it? thats up to the buyer to decide and of course no offense taken my friend, if you need anything else you can PM me anytime

My dealer charges $256 an hour for M labor. Factory warranty always approves at dealer, others may not approve that rate, so unless you have an indie you are comfortable with....

Over 6k sounds like the MSRP. I was looking at 3/75k for my m3 with 20k miles and it was closer to 5k at cost.

If you ran any kind of tune on your car common sense would dictate buying anything other than the OEM BMW warranty Anyone agrees?

Route66 does not cover the M3 and other M models.

I was just thinking about this. Anyone have experience with a tune and trying to use their aftermarket extended warranty?

The law is clear, did mod cause claim. If not, coverage is not affected. That said, there are gray areas that can be used to deny coverage, forcing an expensive fight.

Got my warranty through my dealer:
Fidelity 5yr/75k for $3405 (from date of purchase)

They're able to get Fidelity (Audi's warranty provider) since their corporation owns an Audi dealer as well. BMWs warranty would have been $6900 for the same year/mileage.

I highly recommend this option if you are able to find a dealer that offers both warranties.

so you get an extra year and extra 25k miles for $3400?? that seems quite high considering 7y/85k warranties from easycare are just under 4k$

Negative, ghostwriter. I got 5yr/75k from the date of purchase on the warranty. My car only has 6k miles on it but is a '16 and will be out of warranty in October '19. This warranty gets me an additional 4 years 70k miles of coverage

Ah! got it. That makes more sense and is more in line with the easycare ext warranty.

Whats your deductible on the plan?
