Future Classic Sticker- What is it?

So while aimlessly browing IND's website, I came across this:

https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=FC-Club-Comp

It looks pretty cool, but at $45 bucks, it's pretty expensive. Anyone know why is it expensive? Is it made of carbon fiber lol?

Anyone have any experience with these stickers, or have real life pictures, and not just studio shots?

Never seen that. Looks like they automatically match the sticker colour your car's colour?

Each Future Classic club sticker is personalized to your vehicle using your VIN and is affixed to your window from the inside.

Check out their Instagram for installed shots.

Is it possible to edit both lines of the custom field at the bottom? If I don't want it to say 'Future Classic' but something else? Or is 'Future Classic' required/permanent.

It is a custom field so you can have anything you would like there. If you wanted to remove the brand Future Classic from the stickers then it would be a special request when ordering.

It's cool and everything but $45 seems a bit much. $25 is probably the sweet spot.

I guess I'd go up to 30 bucks, but yeah I don't see the value at $45 either.

Hey guys, I figured I'd chime in since we make these. You can think of the Club Sticker as a much more unique and modern interpretation of the CCA sticker—100% tailored to your car and a great memento to keep through the years.

If we were making one design in one color without any custom fields (and therefore able to do large runs), the cost would certainly be lower. But simply put, we're taking the time to create one-off designs for EVERY car that orders, which involves paint match for unique colors, custom fields, etc.

Additionally, we thought it best to produce a cling sticker, meaning it can be re-positioned and reused over time rather than the more conventional one-time application sticker.

That's correct!

Yes it is possible! It's been an especially popular option for BMW Individual cars. Here are a couple examples:

Appreciate the honest feedback, guys! I may have something coming out for you guys in the near future that would fit the bill. We also offer these designs as posters (Club Poster) in 11x14, 18x24, and 24x36 for your home or garage.

Just a quick update since Future Classic has come up on the M2 board as well

The club sticker is a static*cling "reversed" sticker that adheres to the inside glass of your vehicle (hence the "backwards" appearance). As a static cling, it can be repositioned / moved multiple times as long as it was first applied onto a clean, dry surface. I've moved my original ones from my front windshield (both sides) to rear quarter glass to show placement ideas without any adhesion loss.

I'll try my best to shed some light onto the different options for you.

Club Sticker - Competition Style

Competition Style features a carbon fiber background in the lower section with a vertical tri-color stripe. The upper portion across all the club stickers is the same regardless of style—it features your build date, make/model, last 7 of the VIN, and of course the color (one of the coolest parts to be able to color match your car).

Club Sticker - Vader Style

Vader Style is a throwback to the infamous E36 M3 seat with a diagonal tri-color stripe and solid black background. If you're familiar with the new Euro M4 GTS seats, the diagonal stripe is back as well! Carbon background can certainly be added as a no-cost option here also.

We are going to add the full suite of Future Classic's products to our site shortly as there are many more options than just these two (posters and additional club sticker styles).

Here are some quick examples of what has been done already so far:

Some FAQs to consider:

- Can Future Classic accommodate BMW Individual colors?

Yes absolutely, they are able to reference BMW Individual colors and color codes for your club sticker! They are also able to add personalized text to reflect this unique program.

- Can I add logos instead of text to the bottom of my club sticker?

Yes absolutely, we have fulfilled over a hundred orders that contain logos or custom art instead of text at the bottom (AI or EPS file preferred). Please e-mail us (or IND Distribution) with custom requests and we'll be sure to take care of you!

- Can you make club stickers for other cars and not just BMW?

We can—we have had custom requests for Mini, Subaru, Honda, Porsche, Mercedes, and Audi.

- Do you offer these in a larger size or different format?

We offer them in poster size as well (11x17, 18x24, 24x36) as well as a "slap" sticker. The 'slap' sticker is a "front facing" sticker with an adhesive backing. Unlike the club sticker, it's a one-time application like a conventional sticker, but it is designed to be stuck ("slapped") anywhere you like and was made for people who may not necessarily want to put it on their car, but a toolbox, etc.

Everything from IND is super-expensive. They make/sell great stuff, and they charge for it.

We've had an incredible response to these. When clients have inquired, I explain these things as the CCA sticker for our generation—they're a really cool personalized touch and it's awesome to be a part of a new school car club that has gone rather viral in the last few months.

Here are a handful of new ones we've shipped for clients all over the world (and a few for our cars ):

It is! Though if you'd prefer there is a version that goes on the outside so that the color reproduction doesn't get skewed from the tint.
