+1 for the exhaust sounds!

I dont have MPE but i do have a ZCP car and it sounds soo good...

QUESTION - turning off the fake sound thing, does it take much away?

Second question - the sound it pumps in, is it from my actual engine? or some generic synthesized sound?

Not really but it's enough to where it's audible and annoying.

It's synthesized.

The sound of the MPE and going threw the gears with the window down in sport+ DSC off hearing the turbos with the upgraded intakes going at it in gears 2-3 all the way through redline

Get rid of the active sound. It's amazing how much fake noise gets pumped in. Stereo sounds better, and the real engine note is much more enjoyable.

Same here. Love the exhaust music on the car. Rarely do I listen to music while on a drive.

Was adding a topcoat of ceramic today and boy oh boy is she thicc!!

I love the thicccness!!!!

Its like BMW said, "we need to go wider" and just kept adding layer upon layer of panels..

One of the main reasons I love the F80 over the F82

Don't you mean that you were "banging out quick successive perfect heel toe downshifts" to get down to 2nd while coming into a corner? And then upshifting out of 2nd while you are "rocketing out of a corner"?

That's the way I've always done it. Also, successive downshifts are a waste of time if you're going from 5th or 4th and you need to be in 2nd to come out of the corner, you should just downshift directly into 2nd from 4th or 5th. At least that's the efficient way to do it on the track.
He said "then" not "while". "Banging out quick successive perfect heel toe downshifts then rocketing out of a corner in 2nd oh I came" ..... Meaning downshifting into 2 before the corner, then gunning it out of the corner in 2.

Jesus dude. Do you ever not lecture people? You should try that for once. God forbid someone writes another post about how they don't always hold the wheel at 9 & 3.

Sometimes I hold at 11. Sometimes at 7. Depends on if I'm feeling frisky.

Turning off the active sound and actually enjoying what the car actually sounds like.

Besides flashing the car that has been my best part, the pull it has in all gears now is immense..

3rd/4th gear WOT pulls. 2nd gear, as well, on the occasion it holds traction.

I need some P4S's.

Well, this is interesting. The original post that I quoted, and his reply, is no longer in this thread. And it appears that what I quoted has been changed, because he didn't say "then", he said "while", which is why I repeated it in my reply, and in his reply, he confirmed that what was what he meant, not what he wrote.

I went back and searched BMWModel3's entire post history from the beginning of June and his original post is nowhere to be found, nor is his reply, so apparently there's no way to see what was originally posted. There were also more posts in this thread that don't appear to be there anymore. I'm not a conspiracy-type person, but something weird happened here. Or some mod has decided to take censorship to a whole new level.

Prove me wrong. See if you can find the original post by BMWModel3. I can't.

As to your reply, the irony, it hurts...

Just don't fucking read my posts then. You can always ignore me, I think I"d appreciate that, actually.

This is exactly what happened. The OP went to a mod and asked for the original post to be removed and the quotes edited, or a moderator felt that the conversation was deviating down an unintended path. That's the ONLY way your particular post would have been edited without you doing it yourself.

Right, I know! But why re-edit my reply, why not just remove my reply completely, since it was no longer relevant? Makes it look like BMWModel3's post was originally correct, and that no correction was needed. Also makes it look like I don't know what I'm talking about and leaving me open to criticism from asshats like Tall Tom Cruise.

If I can edit my original reply, I'm just going to remove it.

How are you that easily triggered? Going forward, try to be less thin-skinned.

Relax dude, no need to resort to f bombs and name calling. I'm 1/3 your age and even I won't stoop to that level. I wish I could play your game and go back and fourth, but I really just don't have the time -- also explains why I've never written a forum reply in 5 paragraph essay format.

Carry on!
