FYI PSA Dealers willing to do iStep updates
Dealer is updating my 16 f80 Istep software. Had to sign a "waiver" that if it crashes they are not liable. Car is still under warranty. Just thought that was a little ridiculous...
Word to the wise, trust your dealers if they are going to do these things for you. Not all of them are qualified to do it, having the tech and knowing the tech are two very different scenarios. If all goes well I will be recommending this dealer to everyone for their needs as they are willing to do the iStep updates. |

Software updated successfully, car feels much smoother in several ways. No jerky 1st gear take of in sport+ and better shifting/rev matching.

Did they charge you for this? I'm considering asking next time I'm in for service.
