Just this morning! Going in for ceramic pro tomorrow. Hopefully this will cut down on washes. White is tough to keep clean

When I had flat black, roughly once every 7 to 10 days or so.

Now with my current S0 and garaged, once a month but included is weekly Swifter'ing of the rims. -Yes, Don't laugh it works and saves me an extra 2 hr wash job per month.

SO was a huge surprise in that aspect of not showing dirt, I might even go as far to say, likely only second to SS(silver).

Heck, I washed mine twice in 10 days just while I was in Europe for my ED. Don't want it to sit dirty on the ship for a month.

Every 2-3 weeks- take it to my detailer for a proper wash where they use a foam cannon and dry with compressed air. Maintain with waterless wash (been using Chemical Brothers product; really great stuff) when needed to keep the dust off.

Every 6 months car goes to my detailer for a proper detail.

I try a weekly quick wash, some weeks i don't have time and it turn to bi-weekly.
downside is the rotors and steering knuckle get lots of rust (at least when you remove the wheels, you can see how bad it can get)

Last week into this I washed the car 4 times in 8 days - that's a new record even for me. Typically spring/summer/fall I wash it at least 2x a month but typically 3 in the summer. In the winter she's put to sleep, or washed anytime after being driven, all using no carwash facility/detailer - I've got to be damn near equal on time driving vs. time washing.

I get mine free washed at my local BMW. But having BSM, I wish I had Alpine White again!! I park it in the garage for just 1 day and you can see the dust all over the car. If I drive it? I want to wash it already...

But yeah, free wash every week. 2 at most if I'm busy. But dealer washes are crappy too.

Years ago I tried going to the dealer for that free Saturday wash. It was a 20min drive to the dealer, wait for them to get to my car amongst the others and then 20min home. I quickly decided it wasn't worth the hassle for a free wash.

Mostly every Saturday morning after the gym. Allows me to "cool down" after I work out. Although with Hurricane Matthew, I washed my car and put it back in the garage and will drive the Fiancé's car.

Edit: I posted the same pic twice, that's what you get for being up at 3:42, sorry lol

Damn guys! How do some of you find time to wash your car TWICE a week? That is pretty excessive and unnecessary IMHO.

Who's to say that it is excessive and unnecessary. Maybe my car is dirty and I have the time. I go to a drive-thru place where I have an unlimited wash package that is just 2 minutes from my house so it's easy to run through it quickly

I wash the car once a week and sometimes twice each week. When I'm traveling extensively for work I'll wash it once every 2-3 weeks as I doesn't get driven much. I can't stand letting it sit dirty.

I recommend upkeep depending on dirt. I say this. Bird poop, clean right away. Hard water spots (from sprinklers or even rain in polluted area like LA), clean right away. I guess thats obvious. However, try to clean your car from bugs and road debris with a quick cleaner as often as you see fit. Hand wash the car whenever dust levels change the shine of your car to a almost matte look. Also, whenever you clean your car use rim cleaner. I recommend SONAX rim cleaner. It works like magic. In essence, small upkeep is better than major detailing sessions every two or three weeks if it's you daily driver.

Every week at dealer's free wash on my way to work. Takes 5 to 10 mns. I have been doing that for 12 years. Both DD M3s. E46 m3 looked like new after 11 years of every day driving (including Chicago winters)
