I think it depends on some other units to arrive stateside and get some installs done.

Why missed? for the moment there is only (eff80m3) which had a problem

Not enough data points to know whether his was a fluke or not.
If you’re heck bent on ordering a set, go back through this thread and pick a seller. I think there’s only a couple of actual manufacturers of these. Doesn’t matter how many sellers/distributors.

I’m still waiting on my set to be delivered and the other design that was ordered is also pending delivery. Feel free to do with that as you wish.

They don't look bad except for the terrible fitment on that one car, but I'd be shocked if any of these last longer than six months. Let's get them in the rain, wash the cars, etc. and see how long they last.

I'm also curious to see how they look on the car WITHOUT the lights actually being on. The first picture of the lights themselves look pretty cheap until they light up, at which point they look nice. If they look cheap when not on that's no good.

I ordered a set spent 600 bucks in all after shipping and fee’s so will see. I ordered the red ones. I have a 2015 so I’m curious if they will work how they work on lci..

Should work fine. I also have a 2015 with aftermarket LED tails with sequential blinkers. No coding was needed and no error on dash.

Hope mine arrive soon lol. I want to get this experiment out of the way 🤣

I think you have to see these in person to get a better idea of how it looks. But from the photos they look good to me.

Can you also post a picture with the side shot showing where the corner of the light sits in relationship to the rear fender?

Should be during the day and about the same distance as your other shots. The close up shows a pretty big gap. Wonder how it looks from a distance... that is if you still have them on lol.

I saw it in person and it actually looked really good to me, like surprisingly good. I couldn't tell from the outside that there were any fitment issues. Obviously eff80m3 demands only the best for his car, and you can tell judging by how beautiful his M3 is, so this probably isn't for him. But for your average F8X owner, they probably won't care that it isn't perfect.

Time will tell about durability, etc as well, but as Tom says, aftermarket parts like these really make you appreciate OEM and the attention to detail BMW puts into their products.

I dunno about that...fitment seems pretty important here, I wouldn't want to risk having water seep in and cause even further damage. The gap looks pretty substantial to me.
