The iDrive display is possessed

my 2018 F80 had this problem since it was new.
For no apparent reason, the display will start flipping windows as if it possessed (see video).
I have brought the car more than once for that problem, but today for the first time they said that there is a service bulletin for that and it requires replacing the display.

Weird. Did you get a TSB # associated with this replacement?

And this is the latest version of the bulletin (Dec 2019)
One difference from the previous version is that they do not require to update the software.
This section has been removed:

Vehicle Programming and Encoding

ISTA automatically reprograms and encodes all the vehicle control modules that do not have the latest software

i-level. If one or more control module failures occur “during” this programming procedure:

 Please claim this “consequential” control module-related repair work under the defect code listed in this bulletin with the applicable KSD2/AIR labor operations.

Control module failures that occurred “prior” to performing this programming procedure:

 When “covered” under an applicable limited warranty, claim this control module-related repair work using
the applicable defect code and labor operations in KSD2/AIR.
