Ultimately while I do wish I had some of the elements of the CS (exhaust note, engine tune with that sweet 600NM), I’m still happy with my M4. I love Mineral Grey and the process of modding it has been so much fun. I’ve loved every second.
Makes sense completely. On the plus side at least it came out nice af. Congrats bro.

As far as mods go, you need lowering springs to make the car look right imo!

Thanks man! Do you have any particular brand in mind? I’ve never really messed with lowering springs so can’t say I’m well versed in them.

If you're OCD with warranty like I am, MP HAS.

If not, you can save money with the KW HAS (exact same kit as MP HAS).

BMW thinks a sports car should sit as high as an SUV from factory.

Definitely going to go MP. Can’t risk that warranty. Apart from cosmetic, what differences handling wise did notice with MP springs?

Agree about that SUV thing, I actually thought my car still had that plastic thing they put for suspensions when it first arrived. Thing was sitting so high I couldn’t quite believe my eyes. I imagine I got used to it after awhile.

I already have, my garage back in Barcelona has already done so with my X4M and didn’t seem to raise any concerns when I asked about the m4. Are OPF deletes less common in the US? Perhaps I could send you the contact of my garage if you have any questions.

It seems to me that they simply disabled the sensor via coding before removing the OPF. I was pretty clear about not wanting any tune or anything done, as that could definitely be used to void my warranty. I’ll double check with them to be sure. Where are you exactly in Europe? I know a few other places that have removed OPFs for friends of mine, perhaps I could refer one in your region.
