Problem solved. I had to install a second network adapter for LAN/OBD connection. WiFi connection is used for cloud communication and second one (Ethernet) with the vehicle.

After install I had hard time pairing CarPlay with my iPhone Xs. I had kubax86 help me via WhatsApp. All I had to do is get the phone closer to Nav unit and it paired. Great customer service. Thanks!

You have to add new network adapter. Parallels needs to have both Wifi and Ethernet.

Sorry not looked in here for a while and missed your question.....

Mine is a 2017 plate so build mid 2016 and was running Id5 all factory fit. My NVT Evo was version M at the time I think which was not capable of fullscreen carplay and after some research and forum reading I contacted kubax86 who provided remote coding to flash my software to version P and then did the carplay and fullscreen. Have since installed a touchscreen and had it coded to Id6, again by kubax.....very happy with it all.

On any EVO ID5/6 or EVO ID4 converted to ID5/6 with appropriate software version.

Depends on few things, if you have professional navigation(S609) and production date after 07/2016 then it will work.

By simply reverting the coding of the HU_NBT will result in an error with the built-in splitscreen view of the iDrive, as the (still existing fullscreen) CarPlay view will then be partially overlapped by the splitscreen part...
