VRSF Single Midpipe
https://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-high-f...0-f82-s55.html
Anybody have any experience, reviews, or comments about this? It's almost half the price of AA midpipe which makes it very tempting. Last edited by cfung0517; 07-16-2019 at 11:21 AM.. |

When did they release this? Shocked i haven't seen it before. Incredibly tempting, wonder how it compares to AA, visually does it look smaller in diameter to anyone else?

Kudos to VRSF on reading the market and coming out with a product people are looking for. I've run their parts on my previous BMWs with no issues. |

According to VRSF: “Please note that this item will fit the MPE/Competition Package with no modification.”
Not sure about the mentioning of the “Competition Package” since it’s the same as the regular F8x exhaust, but does that statement mean that the midpipe is a direct bolt-on without any cutting to the MPE? If so, bold claims and a game changer for those with MPE as it competes directly with the Fabspeed x-pipe as well. Tiago@VRSF

Curious if either are made in USA. I'd get the one made here if it meant supporting American fabricators. If not, then this is proves that the comments of AA mid being produced "basically at cost" are complete BS.

I'm really interested in this however I recall some issues with the AA midpipe and some rattling. I believe AA has a specific center mount they sell to address that.
Hopefully I'm remembering that correctly, I wonder if this VRSF unit will have same issues. |

In the review video, the pipe do look awfully close to the brace.

If it's the same size pipe I can't see how this one would be any different. I read about those same issues and didn't like the idea of using washers so I ordered my AA midpipe with their center mount. I have plenty of clearance and no rattles without taking any extra time to tweak the positioning of anything to get it right.
