AutoSolutions + Turner rear bushing my new favorite mod

Shifter is precise, free of slop, and I feel like I can get on the power much quicker.

would love to hear your experience if you try this out. If I remember correct, you have tried several SSK kits already

Sorry I meant that I have the Turner Bushing and I've yet to install it. But yes, I am the guy who's tried several SSKs!

Yeah its great! Sadly you left out (2) nylon washers and a circlip that I had to source. Also one of the tabs on the shift knob was broken so I needed to use some ingenuity and 2 hours of my time to fix it so it sat flush with the shift boot, and not appear saggy.

All you have to do is:
Remove multiple belly pans, lower exhaust, lower transmission/driveshaft, remove stock shifter from inside car, remove shift carrier from under the car, remove shift linkage, remove shift linkage bearing.
At that point install SSK and you’re in business. Probably about 4 hours total.

Ooooook I’ll just pay a shop to do it haha

Is it worth it? How’s it change the feel of the shifts? More direct? Does it feel like it’s easier to possibly money shift?

Drop the trans to install a short shifter? I see why so many people buy the lower V1 M performance knob. If it lit up, I'd probably get one too. V2 looks really nice but I've read far more negative than positive reviews. Stock is fine, and free

My best description would be that it is just more solid and free of any extraneous movement in the shifter.
I’m sure a money shift can happen with any shifter, but when I sense that my shift is not perfectly engaged I keep the clutch depressed and deal with the embarrassment of missing, but at least my motor lives to see another day.

It’s a bit misleading; all you do is set a floor jack with a piece of a 2x4 on it, then raise the jack until the 2x4 is touching the trans. Remove the 4 13mm bolts holding the trans cross brace to the body, and then lower jack just slightly. You wont get much movement, and especially don’t let the jack all the way down to avoid potentially damaging the driveshaft. Some have had luck loosening the 4 13mm bolts, and keeping a few threads in the holes, but I needed the little extra room gained by fully removing bolts.
