I might try and do Mid-O and do Street GT

I'll be running in StreetGT as well. It'll be my first full year running with them. I've done a few events here and there over the last three years, and only 1 of those was in my M4 which was nowhere close to being prepared like it is now.

Engine mods include injen intakes, complete CSF cooler swaps (TMIC, Front IC, Both Aux Exchangers, Oil cooler, and DCT cooler), ARM catless downpipes, Valvetronic Titanium Exhaust. Also have the Bimmerworld secondary fuel pump solution to install. Not sure what tune I'll be running yet, but it will at least be something. Just had the crank hub done so I'm willing to turn it up a bit, but no e85 yet or anything like that.

Suspension mods include 2WR MCS dampers, Full SPL kit front and rear, Bimmerworld roll bars front and rear, powerflex poly bushings for remaining control arms and rear diff. For now, brakes are stock with PFC pads and Bimmerworld air cooler deflector kit. For wheels and tires, I currently run 18x10.5 and 18x11s with 295/30 RE71RS's.

Interior is a Bimmerworld 4-point roll bar with OMP bucket seats and harnesses.

Exterior is the GTS aero kit (hood, front splitter, and rear wing) due to the rules on having to use stock aero.

I expect that it will be somewhat competitive, but probably not for outright wins. I'll be looking to be competitive for top 5 positions, so we shall see. Let me know if you do MidOhio!

I've got these events on my radar....might try to add a VIR and NJMP event to the schedule.

As SYT_Shadow noted, the PCA Potomac events are well run and they class run groups appropriately which is not the case for many of the other organizations.

MassTuning is not strict and very non pretentious orgnization. Point bys are good, better than most, in my opinion.

You do get some issues here and there, but non are systemic problem.

I have not find them any more or less safe than other orgnizations because they are less strict.

Personally, I like them and it will be my third year instructing with Armin.

Remember I'm new to the hobby and orgs but I'd agree with all of the above. The last event I went to with them at WGI I was talking with a bunch of the different guys and asking who else they went with. The general consensus was that they liked how the people that go self-police pretty well. Often times people were being told they could move up if they wished instead of being in the top group and cocking it all up.

No incidents on the day, point bys all seemed good for the most part. In my beginner group there were a few twats but that's to be expected. The instructor I had was awesome; of any I had, he was the best by far.

Tell me about it... every time more money but less time.
When there was time you didn't have money

So much for getting the year started off.
I ran 4 all time PB’s in the second session before I went off track and hit a tire barrier.

Thanks!
I caught some drivers I thought were faster and one did a brake tap into a corner I don’t brake for, I went off roading. They call the corner gut check because you can take it coasting at 100+ mph.

So my fault, because they mix the top run group with up and comers.

Anything besides oil cooler and bumper messed up? Curious if an aluminum skid plate would have saved the cooler.
